Sergio will be getting absolutely nowt that's for sure. He's played well and putted great up until now but he still looks very fragile when faced with a short putt.

    It's the whooping that I don't get.

Whooping isn't a natural reaction to anything, strange behaviour.

You're being far too generous with "halfwit", they're not that bright

He is - and if it was any other journalist who had written that there wouldn't have been such a fuss.

Ffs, other than being Clarke's buddy, how the hell can Westwood's selection be justified? Experience counts for nowt if you're currently form is crap.

if he doesn't contribute in the next few holes and/or tomorrow. Darren Clarke win or lose is gonna get panned.

Pieters is playing brilliantly - he has bailed Rory out quite a few times.
Kaymer, Westwood and Willet all seem to be struggling - along with Clarke's strange selection of only picking the rookies in 1 game each I think the US will stroll the singles.
Would love to see Rory v Reed in the singles that could be some match up.

Westwood's hanging in there and his experience will be key tomorrow. Fancy Willet to pull of something special too.

We look like we're going into tomorrow 9.5 to 6.5 down. A good few of our experienced players are in poor form. We are pjaying with 6 rookies against a hostile crowd. What could possibly go wrong?

The omission of the very much in form Carbrera Bello from this afternoon's 4 balls is mystifying.

Dont understand why he split Garcia and Rafa up - Westwood just missed again from short distance

Never said 'this' on a thread but this. All over. Be 5 or 6 in it by the end (if we're lucky).

Used to care about it when it was live on the BBC but it's gradually got to the point where it doesn't mean anything to me now. Are we losing?

People wonder why golf courses are shutting and toiling for memberships.

Very early days but looks like a tense nights golf ahead. Settled in with food and beer for the duration.

Never seen golf like it from so many players under that much pressure at the one time. Quite remarkable. All week too.
