If you toss a coin up 1000 times and it comes up heads everytime, the odds of it being heads the next flip are 50/50 (unless you're tossing a double headed coin of course).

Apparently not true according to this article, that being said, there are still a lot of clocks stuck at 4:20,,,,I assume Quentin enjoys a smoke?

The Arctic is an ocean, though. It's not a land-mass. Can an ocean be a desert?

A quick google seems to suggest it is. I wonder then if an area of ocean could be considered a desert despite the fact that it's completely liquid?

Yes, the Arctic does have an ocean. However, Arctic temperatures are so low that the ocean is always frozen. ... In fact, the Arctic receives about the same amount of precipitation as the Sahara. The extremely low amount of precipitation is why the Arctic considered a desert – a cold desert

After I learned this, the word dessicated made a lot more sense. I always wondered why dessicated coconut had that name and though it sounded like a medical name for going to the toilet or something similarly mingin!😰

We have no way of knowing which way planet Earth is up. Maps show the North Pole at the top and the South Pole at the bottom. It could just as easily be the other way around.

You can't fart and whistle at the same time.
    You can if you're wearing a g-string.

Earlier maps used to show East at the top. Down is defined by the pull of gravity and ends at the centre of the earth, up is the opposite and ends in infinity.

There was a shortage of helium a few years ago.
Medical companies that tested helium dilution all altered their devices to use methane instead but then a huge deposit was found.
    There is now no shortage.
