I thought it was a 3 year deal he signed last summer?

    2 Million???? What they smoking?
£2m is great money for someone who's only played in the Scottish Championship.

Agreed but i was basing it only on the 1.8 allegedly bid in Jan. However I do not know the full extent of the previous bid and how it was made up. The only issue I have is how much of it will be be allowed to spend in replacing him?

Wow, didn't see that coming. I'd be really disappointed if he goes. We'll need to seriously reinvest the money into the squad.

Murray and Graham are not a first choice centre forward pairing. We'll need two or three quality strikers if he goes

Doubt he'll be asked to step in for Cummings. Hope we actually go out and use some of the money we are getting to strengthen.

Kenny Millar is usually spot on with info regarding Hibs.

Absolutely gutted with this, loved the wee man. Big ask to replace him now.

Big test for LD and the rest of the board. Sell for £2m and reinvest in Boyce and Moult? Not saying necessarily those two but you know what I mean

What do we do with the money? Put it all into one striker or try and get a few in?

Who is available other than the names already mentioned (Stokes et al.)?

We need to sign a proper goal scorer if this is true. The last thing we need is another striker that has a game that's "not just about goals" we've had enough of those types in the last few years.

    United we stand here....

Hopefully we can bring in a few with the money, but I would hope Shaw will be given a chance.

As long as they love to score against the ugly mob as much as JC they'll be alright with me!

Lennon has said he'll be in and around the first team so we should see him playing at some point. We need to replace Cummings' goals, Boyce is the man for that. Spend some more on Henderson and Stokes while we're at it :

I'm gutted Jason won't be here for the derbies.

Is he worth spending a lot of cash on? I'm not convinced.

Truly gutted to be losing Cummings, one of my favourite hibs players in recent years.

He is and always will be a hibs legend.

Now on to replacing him, whatever we get in we should use a bit of it to try and lure Boyce imo.

Probably but I'd prefer to use the cash elsewhere TBH.

I am very glad you are not in leeann dempster's shoes

I suspect a 3 would be part of the response to forests enquiry
    I very much doubt it.

Boyce and a fixed fee buy back for Jason next summer after he fails to score 5 at that level.

We won't spend anywhere near that on him imo. But will make an offer.

  29. #88
I will be dissapointed if he goes for £2m.

Will be gutted when he leaves, but would move on with my very best wishes. He would definitely benefit from a season with us in the Premiership though!

Think we should be holding out for more than £2m...unless as others have said his contract stipulates otherwise...
