You heard something Delboy, or just going on his omission from the squad? I know you've had good info before.

So he's not limping at 8.35 but is limping at 8.39! Maybe he tripped himself up in the pie Q.

Lennon just said on radio we need to move on from McGeough and McGinn.

Bye John and Thanks for the memories.

That’s it then. Makes his injury story before the game look a bit pointless if he’s said that.

SJM is a Hibs legend and I’ll be gutted when he’s confirmed as gone. Lennon is right though, we’ve got to move on at some point even if we don’t want to. He’ll go on to have a great career after Hibs.

Is there any truth in Bitton (loan) Allan (perm) and an undisclosed fee believed to be 2M, having been agreed?

If true I'd be more than happy with that! Source is rubbish, itk claimers on Facebook.

No chance whatsoever that we'll get Bitton, on loan or otherwise IMO.

Sad to see McGinn go but if he is to leave get it done now. Its already dragged on too long for me. I hope we can persuade Celtc to give us Morgan on loan, would be a great signing for me.

If he IS going to Celtic then I'm really disappointed at his lack of imagination and ambition. He could do SO much better. One of the reasons Croatia are in the final of the World Cup (despite being even smaller than Scotland) is because their best players get out into the wider world and prove themselves. As long as our best players continue to follow the same predictable road to the Old Firm, Scotland will continue in mediocrity.

^^or he’s poised for a £4m move down south and we don’t want to risk it!

Where are all the other bidders what other options does he have other than seeing out his contract? Something it would appear Hibs don't want.

"We have to look to other avenues if John decides to leave or a bid comes in that satisfies both parties"

Interesting wording from Lennon, hope there is nothing in it but "if John decides to leave" is a strange thing for a manager to say, think we can be pretty sure that McGinn could be away very shortly.

Or it means the club are happy for him to stay another season even if it means he leaves for free next year, rather than forcing him out just to cash in now. Doesn't always need to be sinister such as transfer requests and the like.

Never suggested a transfer request, he was in the stands tonight though and, lets be honest, this is almost the exact same situation as with Scott Allan. The rumours have reached the same incessant level. I doubt McGinn will stay beyond this window, too much chat about him. Lennon has suggested he isn't right mentally just as Stubbs mentioned Allan wasn't right mentally. It's almost a carbon copy, just a different member of the OF making attempts to unsettle a Hibs player.

Let’s be honest....a lot of homegrown players would love a long term future at a big Scottish club with regular extended European football and the chance regular titles and cup wins and for 5x salary at least. It’s a no brainier for him....good luck to him.....thanks for the memories.

Nobody’s got a gripe with what you’re saying. It’s the Celtic ‘piss take’ with their crappy bids that cheeses you off.

Loving the pressure the papers are putting on Celtic.

Would love to see Celtic gazumped, english clubs need tae move though.
I have a feeling that english clubs, havent bid is they think theres plenty of time, 3weeks. Lets hope we dont rush this. As one rumour has said sellik offer 2 million, Allen perm and Bitton loan still wouldnt be worth what IMO SJM is worth.
