As I said above - because TV cameras pick them up better.
You said you thought it was because of that, i have no idea why we've changed the shades?

This one looks like a slightly lighter shade, but not by much. Looks like the 50's or early 60's? V neck shirts.

Looks like Ronnie Simpson in goal, which would make it sometime between 1960 and 64.

Been watching Hibs since the late 60s don’t think I can remember the v neck I guess it changed mid to late 60s?

1964 was the last of the V neck shirts (until a much more modern era)

Don't ever remember seeing v-neck with long sleeves, so might, conceivably, have just been worn during sunny parts of the season.

That was my first strip. V neck and short sleeves. I think 1966 but may be wrong. Could have been 65, not earlier.

Looks to me like (from l to r) Ronnie Simpson or Willie Muirhead, Joe McClelland, Jim Easton, John Grant or John Fraser, John Baxter and Tam Preston.

I can't vouch for how accurate this model of Easter Road is, but here is a view of the back and exits of the high terracing.

Ian Henry. I was at Berwick that day but don't think it wasA New Year's game. We were keen to see him as he was a new signing but he got a broken leg in the 1st minute and never started a hibs game again.

Stu Turnbull. Nothing happened to him football wise. Did he graduate as a Doctor or something?
