Dortmund is like Barcelona compared to South Yorkshire, trust me I have worked in both.

Agreed, Sheffield is beyond doubt the A-hole of the universe, thought it was Leeds till had to spend two years there for studies, a place with NO redeeming features and if it were, Carlsberg it would have the worst people in the world................probably.

    In short, no likey !!

JKB have been saying for a while he is going to them.
Don't know if there is anything behind it but i wouldn't be surprised.
He is 23 and been at Dundee Utd for 12 years. Would a compensation fee be due to them if he moved to Hearts?
Only if UTD have offered him a new contract I believe, which it sounds like they haven't.

I seen a little bit of their play-off game v Livi and I thought he looked okay. I'd have been happy with Hibs signing him giving our RB situation probably needs an extra, younger, body in there.
    Mon the Hibs.

Is he not a left-footed attacking midfielder?

JKB also said they were definitely signing Allan McGregor and Dylan Mcgeouch.

As for Fraser I mentioned on the PM board that I felt he looked alright but not much more than that, would be a squad player for us, and may have some potential to work with. He would likely be a starter for Hearts and I wouldn’t be bothered about them signing him.

No idea yet if it’s a permanent deal or a loan. I personally think it will be permanent.
    That would be superb.

We're surely not looking at having a midfield of Dylan, Mallan, Allan and McGinn? Or are the first three being funded from potential mcginn sale?

Anybody else suspect that this Kamberi to Sheffield rumour could be the work of an agent?

Deal is in place for us to buy him and we just need to agree terms with Flo then conveniently another club with more financial clout than us is acknowledged, out of nowhere, as being interested in signing him.

Reminds me of what Lafferty pulled when it was "reported" he was going to sign for us after he couldn't agree terms with hearts.

Hope his agent knows what he is letting himself in for if that is the case, we do not respond well to nonsense like this as Scott Allan and Fraser Fyvie will testify.

He certainly is, as is Sam Stanton who I believe won more POTY awards at Arabs this season than Scott Fraser. He's decent but IMO flatters to deceive.

Fraser was injured for much of the season.

I believe the offered contract has to be on equal or better terms, so if they offered less then I think he’s free to go.

I had thought that "we made him a very good offer to stay with us." would have covered that, but maybe if they're cost cutting for another year in the championship then a good offer is still a pay cut. Or, given the interest in him, they would have offered a contract on par to secure a fee.
    Mon the Hibs.

Tam McManus tweeted he was chatting to Lennon at the Mental health awareness event at Carrick golf club. Repeated that he's not given up hope on Mcgeouch, but resigned on losing McGinn.

Makes sense I guess, if we are to sign players like Kamberi Mallam and McGeouch then we'll need funds from a McGinn transfer

As much as I adore SJM I think McGeouch is more important to the way we play

I wonder if there’s been discussions with other clubs about Mcginn and the numbers involved are allowing us to increase our offer to Mcgeouch?

They are not going to offer less though as they will want the development fee.

I doubt he’ll be having many more chats with Lennon if the content is immediately stuck on Twitter. That doesn’t sound like something Lennon would want to be ‘on the record’.

It would make sense to plan the future without McGinn. I think we all expect him to leave this summer if the right offer comes in. I just hope we get what he is worth.

I thank him and his inability to control a static ball at his feet for his role in the cup final of 2016.

We can dream but I think reality(positive) suggests McGinn will be sold and interest has started to come from several clubs.

This should give us a chance (%) of securing/-

    McGeouch - 30%
    Allan - 90% (100% loan worse case)
    Kamberi - 80%
    Barker - 70% (loan)
    Mallan - 60% (80% loan)
    McLaren - 50% (60% loan)

If we could get all of the above then we are in very very strong position.

A midfield 3 of Allan, Mallan and McGeouch would be fantastic.

There’s a video on the STV article now

    https://stv.tv/sport/football/141580...mcgeouch-deal/

Think he says Allan is one for further down the line, but not sure I’ve picked him up properly.
I took that as further down the line as in not imminent and during the summer?
