Following the thread on best Hibs players (Hibs fans) what about the best Hibs team with players you watched. I didn't see the famous five so here goes? I have named two teams as there are so many I've enjoyed watching. First team in 433 formation
Goram
Brownlie. Sauzee. Macnamee. Murphy
Willie Hamilton. Stanton. Cropley
Cormack. Baker. Martin
2nd team 442
Rough
Bremner. Blackely. Black Shaedler
Edwards. Brown. Collins. Stevenson
McBride (snr). Gordon
Sure I have left out many other greats.

Dagnall also played well in the League Cup semi at Tynecastle. Not the best player ever to play for Hibs but played his part and glad he seems to be doing well back down south.

I went 4-2-3-1. Not based on the best ever players but ones I think would work as a team.

We have not come close to as good a team as this since and probably never will.
Only criticism of them would be that they should have won a lot more than they did, but that was probably down to a very good Celtic side at the time.

I think the problem was lack of strength in depth. 12th man in TT was John Hazel.

However I picked up a copy of Ted Bracks The Game On New Years Day 0-7 with the foreword by Jimmy O'Rourke today and it looks a cracker so going to enjoy reading it over the next few days or so.
Also picked up a beer glass with the old badge on it with the crown football and laurels in a charity shop. Looks the real deal with old style type glass and handle and is in great nick.
