My wife's cousin plays for Oxford and I spoke to him tonight about him.
Says he's been superb for them this season and even though he's out of contract, he'd be very surprised if he were to leave. He's mainly played as a 10 or on the left this season.

Got to say I think we (myself included) are getting an bit too excited considering it's only one poster who has heard it from his mate and not posted anything since.
I would really like there to be something in this howlers
He along with Swanson, Simon Murray and Stokes would really strengthen our attacking options.

I liked him back when he was at Aberdeen. I'd be pretty chuffed if we signed him.

Chris McGuire
Looks decent enough but a bit of a fanny. I do recall thinking he was a wee prick at Aberdeen.
Still, if he bangs in the goals and winds the Jambos up, who would complain.

Watched him play for Pompey a few seasons back. Was their best player. Fans loved him.

Take it this is Chris Maguire ex Aberdeen, Derby, Sheff Wed and now tearing it up at Oxford in League 1?
He'll be in his prime now I'd imagine so would think this could be a very decent signing. Not sure how he'd work with Swanson but good to have 2 options.
