How good is this young man?!! Excellent performance today, the lad has so much energy and skill, wonder if there is any chance of keeping him.

What he’s so good at is carrying the ball from defence into attack.

He was what we needed to replace SJM. A driving midfield player to take the pressure of defence and get us on the front foot, excellent performance today.

Before today I was happy enough to have him and thought he looked good enough and that was about it. Today he looked way too good for this level though.

No chance of signing him permanently, but great chance of signing him on loan for another year or two. That would do me.

outstanding first half in particular, not afraid to carry the ball and can always see a pass when others would launch it - aswell as battles hard brilliant

Man of the match for me, don't know how many times he got his toe on the end of the ball and still kept possession.

Couldn't believe when they announced Hanlon and not Omeonga.
His energy, skilful feet, desire and attitude was superb and agree with other posters, looked a level above today.

The above posts sum up what he brings to the team the most, and for me it sums up what we were lacking during the first half of the season. McNulty up there with Flo has made a huge difference, but having a player who can carry the ball at pace from back to front has also had a huge effect.
You can see the impact it is having on players who were toiling at times during the first half of the season - Horgan, Slivka, Mallan, Milligan, Flo - we're getting much more from all of these players now.

Maybe a further 12 month loan deal would be good for him, Genoa and us?

At the risk of stirring up a hornets nest with some posters I have to say he reminds me of Latapy when he’s on a run with the ball. Excellent close control and he seems to have a habit of being confronted by a couple of opponents and emerging with the ball. Unlike wee Russell he seems to have a bit of a dig about him too. Very impressive.

Faded in the last half hour, but thought he was fabulous until then.
