I'm at a loss to explain it as well, if memory serves me correctly I don't think they'll manage to sell the tickets to home fans due to the set up.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I would like to think if my information is correct the club gives us an explanation.

Celtic also took away a few rows of seats from the bottom to build some sort of platform (disabled viewing perhaps) so there are less non-restricted seats than before. Also the AST is to guarantee you a ticket for the match. Can't recall it guaranteeing you first dibs on the best seats in the house... We should return the complement and give them 168 tickets ie 0.8% of capacity.
Although in truth it is probably not Celtic's choice. With the additional 11000 Celtic supporters in the former away end
the police have had to change the access roads to that section.

Hibs will not want seats that they can get £30 for lying empty.

We will be cutting their allocation from just under 4,000 tickets (just under 20% of our stadium's capacity) to an allocation probably in the region of about 1500 tickets (approximately 7.5% of our stadium).
If we were to get the same percentage of Parkhead, they would give us 4,500 tickets.
If our allocation is actually 500 tickets for this match, that's the equivalent of us giving them around 160 tickets for Easter Road.
I would love us to do that to both them and Rangers. **** the pair of them.

i just got an email saying
"In regards to the Celtic away game due to the low number of the tickets sent to us from Celtic for this game, we have only been able to allocate seats in the restricted seating areas."
Is it just me as i am reading this as all the tickets are restricted view?
Or are they telling me personally that they are allocating me a restricted view ticket, dont think its too clear do you?
Any way they have taken the correct amount of money for one from my bank account/

Notoriously bad time for attendances, live on TV and four games at ER in under a fortnight. Costly for home fans who haven't seasons.
I would love for you to be correct however.

I think there are more restricted view than non restricted view in that away section. A lot of them are not too bad but it’s just your luck really where the pillar impacts your view of the pitch. A pathetic allocation from a club who care little for travelling supporters. Ibrox is a far superior stadium than Celtic Park in my opinion, certainly as far as the visitors section is concerned.

They did and we were still able to accommodate 260+ AST holders there last season in full view seats. Aberdeen got section 118 as well for their recent visit.
I don't see why we should put our money up front to be given crap seats, the same thing happened at Dundee a few weeks ago, put away in the corner while walk ups got tickets in the middle of the stand.

I've emailed the club asking to clarify the exact amount of tickets allocated to us by Celtic and whether they are all restricted view or whether there are some full view tickets available, also asked if Celtic have moved the away section as last season we had 260+ AST holders who were easily accommodated in full view seats.

They claim to be the best club in the world yet can’t give the punters a full view of pitch.

I too have asked Hibs to provide the exact amount of tickets allocated to us. There seems to be a reluctance to confirm this.

To be fair Hibs twitter don't work out of the ticket office and probably don't have that info to hand.

From Tracey on facebook:
Hibernian Away Season Ticket Holders:
Majority of you will notice that you have had less money taken from your account for the Celtic game, and that you’ve been given a restricted view ticket. Unfortunately, Celtic have cut our allocation and therefore there were not enough full view seats to go around. I have also been given restricted view.
There will also be a limited amount available when they go on sale to ST holders on Wednesday.
Please bare this in mind if contacting the ticket office as it isn’t theirs or Hibs fault. The girls/boys in the ticket office can only work with what they’re given.
Thanks
Tracey

Maybe holding block 119 back to see if their own fans can sell it? I've purchased for 118 seen a few on social media doing the same.

Them and Rangers are ruining it for everyone. Part of the beauty of Scottish Football is the atmosphere at big games and they are hell bent on cutting everyone’s allocations.
**** Celtic.
