1st bairn takes ages. My missus was showing early labour signs for about 5 days before anything really happened.

Not obviously going to be at the birth but will have to take the wife up once the baby arrives, hopefully being their 1st it'll take longer, I'm expecting early morning, babies have a habit of arriving at that time.

Went with my daughter to ER the day before she was due - it's called priorities, your wife won't like it but if the mother to be is with you and near the car what could possibly go wrong?

A quick telephone call to ER asking about the suitability of the Changing Rooms for baby delivery might be the answer. Might be a bit crowded at half-time though. On the plus side, lots of ideas for names if it's a boy.
