Forest 0-0 Derby, not a bad game so far. 35 minutes to go.

Your talking nonsense, which is not unusual for you.
At least it's a change of face, instead of the usual suspects who on a daily basis talk pish. I stick by my point who Ross a full time MP finds time to be an assistant referee I'll never know.

Nicely taken by Alli. His first for a while, I think.

10 years ago discussing a referees political affiliation, religion, hobbies or employment situation would have been the preserve of simpletons from either side of the OF divide. It's a sad indicment of 'modern Scotland' that it seems to be spreading. I suppose it shouldn't really be a surprise given that a lot of language and terms that I'd rarely heard outwith the context of Northern Ireland have become used far more frequently in Scotland as well.

    I agree. It's a lot of nonsense.

How does being a Conservative MP exclude you from being an official in a Rangers v Celtic fixture?
Playing Devil’s Advocate but pretty sure one of Celtic’s board is a Conservative peer. Which shouldn’t surprise people as like their bigoted brethren, it really comes down to making money.

Sadly I think we’ve also had Tories involved with Hibs in the past but out of all clubs in the country I reckon we have the best history. We are a progressive club that embraces all aspects of our community.

I don't think it's a recent phenomenon at all. In the context of an 'old firm' game, it's always been part of the chat.

1-2 Spurs, Son. His right ankle was offside so if VAR was here it would have been ruled out.

Totally agree, the only change I would have made to your post would be to insert ''inclusive" as in modern inclusive Scotland.

... not forgetting our manager too. Pretty sure Lenny is also sick of biased decisions by officials - especially those officials whose outspoken political opinions are replicated in the Ibrox stands !

As far as I know the only peer ever on the Celtic board was John Reid formerly Labour Home Secretary.Currently it’s Brian Wilson also an ex Labour minister. However, spouting complete p**h should never interfere with having an opinion.

It always seems to be those on the left that bring politics up on here. Wonder why that is?

Don’t think I’ve ever read someone complain about a ref, linesman or board member being a Nationalist or Labour member.

There must be one, they can’t all be Tories and Trump supporters. Can they?!

Was there not an issue back in January with someone on the Celtic board attending a burns supper at Downing Street? I recall it upsetting some of their support at the time

I only watched the first 15 mins, commentator at halftime saying its a really good game but no goals, cancelling each other out. Insigne showing some lovely touches.
