The fourth was obviously poor, but he made a lot of good saves and wasn't helped by some shocking defending and good play from Der Hun.

He's a keeper I wouldn't turn my nose up at.

Liam Craig got the assist for the St Johnstone goal

Very poor highlights, missed a couple of good hibs chances

Mcginn must be one of the best midfielders in Scotland and he's improving.. if we keep him by January I'll be delighted.. top player..

What was Whittaker doing at their goal? Looked way out of position and to be casually jogging back despite the ball going right into where he should have been? Did I see that wrong?! Looked really bad.

As a side note I see Thompson is up to his old tricks.. can't wait til that man retires..

He went to mark the unmarked man in the middle, caught between a rock and a hard place.

Yep, the whole defence got dragged over and out of position. I'd be looking for a midfielder to be covering at the back

The man in the middle was the immediate danger, and with nobody marking him he had to try and get there.

As you say, i too would be looking for a midfielder to see the danger, but it was a quick break and quite a few had lost their men.

I didn't even know he was playing until 80 mins?

Maybe too many hangovers on a Sunday for people to appreciate your reference :)

A few boos at the announcement, which I thought was a bit off.

Aye. And when Spoony got subbed he was being booed off by some. This was quickly drowned out by the vast majority of Hibbies clapping the lad off the park.

Ah, that would explain it. Apologies to Steven Whittaker

Not sure what Ambrose was doing either. He seemed miles out of position and had to sprint back against two St Jonnstone players.

What an awful decision by Danny not to play in Simon Murray.

Exactly. Ambrose was over covering Gray who was beaten up field and Hanlon had to cover one player and Whittaker the other Saints player in the middle leaving O'Halloran free at the back post. I had complained all game that Barker was not giving Whittaker any back up unlike Boyle on the right and I feel Barker was close enough( just outside the box) that he should have been more aware and worked back to help out. No blame at all places on Whittaker as he had to tuck in to cover the Saints player I. The middle.
