Massively intrigued to see if he changes the team for this given the “statement” last night.

Surely he’s got to try something different, we are all tired of seeing the same old faces fail us time and time again.

Could save his job if he does - much like changing from 4-4-2 earlier would have bought him much more time.

Given the board actually seem to care what these results will be, I suspect the aim is to finish 7th for the limited prize difference it gives us. Ten points minimum.

Our results haven’t really improved after he changed the formation have they? Style of play is more of an issue.

I’m not sure there’s much he can change at this point.

He should’ve realised early on we are too easy to score against, and teams will cross balls in constantly as we can’t defend them.

We should’ve been working on defending that with whatever way he could set us up, if he can change our style now to deal with that better…why hasn’t he done it already?

If we suddenly improve and batter them after the statement then it might lead to even more questions. He shouldn't need a kick up the arse from above to get us a result. Obviously hope we do.

If I was Hanlon I’d tell Monty to ram it

Suddenly starts after been given an ultimatum

I bet a few of the players would feel like that

    The knives will get sharper

I don’t think he really did change the formation much.

Can’t see it as that would show a lack of forward planning.

I do think against Motherwell though we looked much more like a 442 again with Marcondes playing really high.

I think for Monty’s and the teams sakes he needs to drop Boyle and have Elie on the right. I can’t see him being brave enough to do it though.

Maolida on the left and then Vente/ALF up top.

Don’t think he will change much. We are creating chances in the main.
Tuck them away a wee bit concentration at the back and it’s a different story.. The players need to step up to the plate not so much the manager. 5 wins to finish.

If we win the last 5 games, just like the op, I’ll eat my hat.

    Never happening.

More likely to be a front three given Monty's fondness for surprise formations.

It won’t really be a surprise if they score a late winner Levin knows how we play so Monty is going to have to show he can come up with something different to come out on top

Defo....... Has to keep himself fit and free from injuries for his next team

Removing the small chance of relegation at the earliest opportunity should be the focus now. Win this game, then start looking ahead to next season.

Pretty sure Paul Hanlon would much rather take the opportunity to play as many minutes as possible, if he gets the chance. Given the fact he’ll know he probably has a maximum of 5 more opportunities to do so.

If you were Paul Hanlon, a lifelong Hibs fan, club legend, cup winner, you'd refuse to play for Hibs in what would be your final 5 matches?

Thankfully Paul has a bit more class than you then.

If Hibs beat St Johnstone... and do so by more than a two goal margin... I'll eat Craig Levein.

Actually not a bad shout. Cadds and Obita playing wing backs high up and pressing. NMW, Newell , Triantis midfield. Start with Maolida and Youan up top. Boyle, ALF , Vente, Campbell, Marcondes Bench

If we don’t beat St Johnstone
We just dust ourselves down and move on to the Ross County game and try our best to beat them
    Simple
