    No news on Vente?
No inside knowledge, but something makes me think that we'll not be seeing much more of him in a Hibs shirt.

Think he'll be away in the summer.

“ Jake Doyle-Hayes has been back in elements of First Team training, whilst Luke Amos, Lewis Miller, and Dylan Vente are working their way up to full fitness.”

    From Montgomery yesterday.
    Cheers 👍

I’d be surprised if we’re willing to take a financial hit on him after 1 season. We wouldn’t make our money back.

He’s looked good, not scored enough goals but on the whole looks a very capable player. I can’t see why we’d be looking to shift him unless we’d get our money back.

I can see it as well, sometimes these things just don’t work out.

Maybe a good pre season under his belt and he could be like a new player.

I don’t believe Monty really rates him.

A defender in midfield over an actual midfielder is interesting
It's the resurrection of the "Matty Jack" role

Wind getting up and St. Johnstone scrapping for survival I expect it could be dire viewing.

First goal for Hibs will be a goal kick by the St Johnstone keeper that the wind will blow back over his head and into the net.

    I've got £50 on it.

Hope not, but wouldn't be surprised. I like Vente.

Expecting a major overhaul in the summer. Going to be a massive turnover in players.

Let's go Hibs! Looks just as windy as through west Lothian way.

Yeah, going to be a lottery. Game might not even finish if the ball does not remain stationery at dead ball situations.

Not the conditions I would have wanted against this lot in what is a must win game.

I think the use of him has been baffling since Monty came in.

Still reckon we would be better off overall if we just played Vente up top as a striker consistently over the course of this season as opposed to the weird number 10/false 9 role he had around winter time or Boyle up top instead of him.

More recently we have been passing it around better on the deck so in theory we should be better than them today - in the wind and if we keep it down , having said that Potter will get his team to hoof it in to the air as much as possible.

Rubbish on the park is one of my top pet hates in football - I don’t know why I get so hacked off about but I do

Mike Stewart can't believe we didn't get a penalty

Not a pen IMO. Would expect it given at the other end though.

been in and out all season, not trusted to work hard enough defensively is my guess, good option off the bench though

I'd have to see a better replay but Emi definitely got the ball first

One that could have easily been given and naturally would have to Rangers
