I actually think Elie did track his man often, the problem was he also fell asleep and let them overload us on Cadden's side. You can perhaps get away with that hosting Motherwell or Livingston but when you do it versus Rangers at Ibrox they're going to punish you. Tavs goal was pretty much because Lundstram had the freedom of Glasgow to swing a ball into the box unchallenged.

However the same goes for Maolida on the other side for Dessers goal as I think he lets his man run freely down the wings as well with just 30 seconds left in the half.

It’s not nonsense. He’s a luxury player. You can claim he’s got goals and assists blah blah…. For every goal and assist he’s let umpteen players run past him, played a stupid pass, not read the game, stood still….

They put in a shift exactly the same way Youan did today. Not a single one of the players mentioned are good at the defensive side of the game and not a single fan of their teams will criticise them for that. Because they provide goals and assists. Shockingly, as Youan does consistently for us.

Folk expect him to be this complete player. When is the last time Hibs had a complete player like that? You could even argue McGinn wasn't that player cause he didn't score or assist a lot.

Someone said on here a few months back that they thought Jair would get us our highest transfer fee and we were lucky to have him, which was an absolutely mental take. The guy has nowhere near enough ability to play football for an SPL team, he basically hid when he came on today. His performances when the manager first came in improved, but not to the level where he was showing that he could cut it at this level. Best to admit it’s not going to workout now and release him at the end of the season.

That was me. A little bit of Dutch courage had been taken at the time but I still believe he can be a player for us.

Yeah, I actually feel sorry for Jair. Rabbit in the headlights, nowhere near good enough. I’ve a funny feeling Levitt might end up being one of those players that does it for another team, however I totally agree that we should be looking to move on.
