Whether he's a few cms off the ground or not really makes no odds
It's never a penalty anywhere in the world and it's why pretty much unanimously folk are saying it's no penalty
The sad thing is fans of all clubs expect this against them

If we are going to start giving penalties for this then we are probably looking at a lot of penalties being given in games from now on . If it had been the other way we definitely wouldn't have got a penalty for it either.

The first rule for any penalty is that both teams would get it if roles are reversed. Absolutely no chance we get that against them and I would wager we wouldn't get it against any team in the league. In fact it isn't dissimilar to the contact when Ross County scored when clearly fouling Marshall at the tail end of last season. I'm not sure I would argue about the award as much as I would about how many teams get that type of award and what teams, us, never seem to get those awards. As a one off it proves nothing but if our club had any sense they would have a video dossier that would be too long to fit on a VHS tape showing when a foul is a foul against us but the same foul is not given for us. A second tape would show when a non foul is a foul against us but isn't a foul for us. You simply can't look at these decisions as one offs as that is what The Rangers and corrupt referees rely on

We should starting barging in to players as they jump to clear a corner. Make sure you spin the defender as you barge in and the arms will be all over the place. They aren't even embarrassed at the penalties they are gifted. Neither player was going to get the ball yesterday. Almost as soft as the penalty Colak cheated last year.

I’m think the ruling out of the goal for encroachment is quite telling.
I think they were suddenly hit with the realisation in the VAR room that allowing that penalty to be awarded was a step too far, and there could be some serious repercussions. I don’t think Hibs would have accepted it had the goal stood and there could have been a bit of a mess to sort out in the wake of it all. The ruling out of the goal for a minor encroachment takes the heat off, and they were very fortunate to be a able to do so.
I think they ultimately bottled out, a bit of panic set in and a forensic examination was going to take place to find anything they could to disallow a goql scored from the kick. Relief all round, but they're sailing a bit close to the wind.

Why did the old firm not get one of these "up and coming" referees? If they are good enough for us..........

No penalty today , can't make it too obvious with penalty's all the time . Wee sending off should do the trick about the 35 minute today .

Absolute piece of nonsense keeping them waiting until the 89th minute especially when they were losing. I'm sure that nice chap Cantwell fell down in their own 6 yard box.
Obviously a cafflic conspiracy not giving it. A couple of the Ross County players looked at Huns the wrong way and should have been off. Also Simon Murray played for Hibs which should be a red card.
This league is a fix.

Baldermort right down the tunnel at full time. The officials won't be making the same mistake again.
