When a horse doesn’t run and the bookies don’t have time to form a new market or your bet took a price when that horse was still due to run. Means you win less than you thought. The amount of deduction is due to the price of the horse who doesn’t run e.g the deduction is more the shorter price the horse is. There is a set percentage table determined by the price of the horse who doesn’t run eg 5 pence in the pound etc
Thanks, that makes sense. Is fair enough I suppose. Can't complain, made £120 from a small stake. Thanks tipsters 👍. That's my stake money for the Grand National sorted and I know where to come beforehand for a tip.

I love the name Albert well done to all who backed the hibs connection horses today all winners well done lads.
Dual interest for me as I’ve got a cat called Albert and of course, there’s Albert Kidd to continue todays Hibs themed bet.

Kudos to the OP for bringing to our attention. Enjoy your winnings, gentlemen 🍻

I echo the sentiments, thank you for the heads up.

I only had £9 in my online account so put the lot on a Famous Five/Montgomery double, stuck £40 of the winnings on Hunter Legend, stuck £50 of those winnings on Grand Albert to leave me over £150 up.

    A pleasant wee afternoon.

    Was it a £7.50 lucky 15 ? If so you'll get around £685, Or £7.50 total bet ? If so it'll be around £45

    That will be a 50p Lucky 15 (15 bets at 50p = £7.50)

For anyone who likes a flutter on the gee gee’s.
A Hibs themed double at Bangor 2.00 The Famous Five and 2.30 Montgomery.
Both favourites (currently about 7/4 and 5/6) and a £10 double would return approximately £50.

If that’s not a big enough return to interest you and if you really wanted to stretch the Hibs ‘theme’. Then in the following race, the 3.05, you could add the fav from that race, Hunter Legend (currently 2/1). Which would obviously return approximately £150 to a tenner stake.

Good luck if anyone gives it a bash.
Thank you again sadtom. Was out for a walk with the good wife and didn’t get home till just after 14-05. Quick change of clothes and nipped down to Ladbrokes to do the double, but couldn’t believe I’d missed the Famous Five race. However I decided on Montgomery along with Hunter Legend and threw in Grand Albert for good measure- nice wee treble ! Owe you a pint pal 👍

Well done those who got it on.

Did anyone have the fourfold ? What did it pay ?

I usually have a look at the bookie bashing thread on a Sat morning. But with it being international weekend and me working yesterday I never bothered 😕
