Regardless of dodgy decisions going against you - when you are 2-1 up in a game late on as a manager, and you have Ellie Youan in the team you HAVE to take him off.
He's done his job, helped get us in a winning position - he's had a very good game. But FFS he is a defensive liability - so just take him off!! Same scenario as at St Mirren. You can't blame Youan - he just doesn't have the mentality.

No argument here, never going to do anything meaningful to help the defence out so your suggestion makes sense to me, but obviously not the manager.

Get him tae ****.
His records abysmal. I have no idea why he’s still here, or why folk think we should stick with him!

Already dreading his post match interviews that sound exactly the same every game

Just look at Cadden's reaction towards Youan when the goal goes in. But it can't be a surprise to anyone that has seen Youan play. How does the manager not see it. Honestly raging.

Makes Jack Ross look charismatic.
Another dud on Kensells watch.

It will be for the greater good if we lose to livi then start the process of getting a real manager in.

When will the players learn? Once again we have a team with absolutely no bite, passion or leadership.
Youan should be binned before NM , he's a total liability with the very odd piece of brilliance. He has no idea what's involved in a game of football in this league.
Montgomery will be away next season , of that I'm pretty sure. Foley isn't pumping £6m into a team managed by an amateur who can't see that his player selection is wrong until 45mins.

I don’t believe in any upturn, if we hadn’t spent so much money sacking managers recently; he’d have been gone months ago.

If there's genuinely a new era on the horizon, then he's definitely not the man to lead us.
Out of his depth.

We went across the other side of the world for a guy who had very little credentials for the job. He always looked an iffy appointment but to be fair we've all backed him.
Week after week he's showing he is out of his depth sadly. In the last 2 games he's made 3 fatal errors. 1. Playing Marcondes up front x 2. 2. Not subbing Obita v huns when a blind man could see he was going to get another yellow. 3. Keeping Youan on the park when we went 2-1 and County went for broke with 4 attacking subs.
We've been shafted by the officials as well but the bottom line is the Manager is getting nowhere near enough points from the squad he has.

By replacing Marcondes with Hanlon?

If he’s out his depth showing no signs of learning or redeeming features then McDermott would see through it.
For anyone that’s been a manager or a parent you’ll know - you can fell a kid/ team something many times but sometimes they need to experience it for the penny to drop. They need to learn together. If that’s not happening there’s a problemo."We know the people who have invested so far are simple fans." Vladimir Romanov - Scotsman 10th December 2012
"Romanov was like a breath of fresh air - laced with cyanide." Me.

He is totally out his depth. His record is shocking

Slightly concerning is that one of the main things he should have learned by now is that he can’t trust some of the current players, permanent signings who will be here next season and who were the ones who were consistently poor during the first half of this season.
Unfortunately this was a run of fixtures where he’d needed to get something out of them at some point.

8 Nov - St Mirren (A), goal conceded 90+2, 2 points dropped.
27 Dec - Hearts (H), goal conceded 90+3, 1 point dropped.
7 Feb - Celtic (H), goal conceded 90+2, 1 point dropped.
13 Mar - Ross Co (A), goal conceded 90+8, 2 points dropped.
You can add to that:
6 Aug - St Mirren (H), goal conceded 89', 1 point dropped.
I thought it might be worse (impressions eh?) but that is still unacceptable. These 7 points lost would have us on our own in 4th on 42 with St Mirren dropping to 39.
I watched the last 20' of Plastic Whistle v Raith the other night. It wasn't pretty but Raith showed that they knew how to defend their 1-0 lead better than us.
