    Best Pubs for Scotland games

Been awhile since I've been back home. Coming with the family for the Euros, we'll be in Edinburgh for the Germany game. Where do folk recommend going for the best atmosphere? I'm talking Mctominay scores in the last minutes beers flying etc 😂

Back in the day I used to go to the Corn Exchange for the big games and that was decent for abit atmosphere. Is that still the case? Happy to take any recommendations. Cheers!

Grass market pubs, pear tree. The likliehood is that Hibs will probably show the games as well. They've done it for a lot of the Scotland games

If that’s the sort of thing you’re after then The Three Sisters and The Pear Tree would probably be the obvious ones.

I’d hope there’ll be fan zones put up as well.

People might find this hard to believe but, Shandwicks has been really bouncing for Scotland games recently, it was particularly boisterous when Italy won the final at Wembley too.

Do you take your own stab vest or can you get one there?

I think I saw something actually advertised out at Ingliston

I go onto Shandwicks regularly with my wife, never seen trouble
Maybe because I go in around 6/7pm and not late

I was thinking The Three Sisters. Good shout with The Pear Tree, I've added that to the potential list. My wife's American and I just want to take her to a place with a good atmosphere.

I’ve been in a few times but not for years and never any issues either. Met Deeks in there once too (not sure that backs up the whole no trouble thing I guess 😁)

Still getting over the prices now. And not in the way I’m usually getting over central city prices.

Nobody is daft enough (that may or may not be true) to cause bother when it's £1.95 a pint. The only 2 times that I've witnessed any bother it was girl on girl action! 😳

The Central Bar, why stray too far?

The Waiting Room in Morningside is good for the footy if you want a walk out of the town and do a bit of shopping or whatever. Or even better, start in the Kings Arms at Tollcross and pub crawl all the way there. It's a cracking pub crawl. 😁

Three sisters used to be amazing. Was in there for the McFadden game against France. Pints flying everywhere, people dancing on tables and two doormen trying to get them down while the whole place went mental. What a night!

Not sure what it’s like these days

Hibs club is having an event with a Scottish covers band on after the game. £5 a ticket for non members.
