    Triantis

Triantis has received some stick since he joined & rightly so on occasions but today he was really impressive in midfield, the stand out for me.

I think it’s only fair to give him the praise his performance deserved.

Even when he was playing CB and his defending wasn’t great he did look comfortable on the ball. Thought he was excellent tonight and didn’t let his early booking effect him.

Thought he was very good but suffered from a few poor passes in important situations, he wasn't alone in that sadly. Booked just after the Rangers players high foot went unpunished which was unlucky for him.

    He played well today.

Did anyone else notice they had Christain Doidge on the big screens when he was subbed though?

He was very good. But I still feel NM got it wrong, by putting him in and marcondes up front.
It should have been ALF or Youan in from the start

I thought Triantis did well today also, especially considering he was yellow carded very early.

Liked the look of him in midfield.

He's always looked pretty comfortable on the ball.

Between him and Rocky for our MOTM imo. Covered the ground well, very cool on teh ball and looked a really good option in front of teh centre halves.

Highlight of the night for me and gives us another good option in the centre of the park. I’d be starting him again midweek fitness permitting.

Thought he was our best player till he went off . Only 20 and could have a good future .

I’d go along with that… Both played well. Pity a few more couldn’t match their standard. Plenty of endeavour but not a lot of quality and some seriously honking decision-making.

Good midfield display tonight. Was impressed by the big man.

    Good defensive midfielder.

    Was like John Stones.

Very composed and more importantly good on the ball.

Early yellow took away a bit of an edge for hi m as there was a couple you could tell he had to pull out of.

    Very good performance

Thought he was excellent today and I’ve been really critical of him in the past

He was good on the ball. Thought he’d be the token red card after early booking…

Could he play the Matty Jack role ?

I thought he played well. But I thought it disrupted things in the middle of the park and others were poorer for it. We had a functioning midfield that had been working well and I wouldn’t have changed it.

Rocky literally was faultless. I cant see past him. Triantis was very good though.

I thought he showed signs of quality, I’m looking forward to seeing more of him in that role.

Looked very ropey at CB but I was impressed with him. Surprised especially by how good he was on the ball.

Only annoying thing was he had the same habit of doing something with real quality to open up a bit of space, then ruined it by misplacing a simple pass.

Wait till you hear about the rest of the team 😄

Looked very composed in the position, I'm not sure if it's something we will be looking to going forward but no complaints.

He deserves a lot of credit for his performance last night. I thought he was very impressive and considering the howlers he had in defence and his subsequent demotion to the bench, he did really well.
