Know something in regards to Amos?
No, not ‘in the know’ at all! Sorry, I wish I was.

What I meant was that I don’t think he’s that good, whereas I think MW is. Simple as that.

Didn't he sign an 18 month contract with us in January?
    Yes, I think that’s correct.

Can see them targeting Myziane early. Who’s the current Jambo hatchet man?
    They’re getting Devlin fit.

I think Amos probably looked the best he'd been on Saturday when he came on, think it's clear to see how much rust he needed rid of and match fitness back into the legs. He'll get there eventually but I am looking forward to him with a pre-season.

There was one run he made and just sadly played the ball ahead of Jair where I was very surprised at his turn of pace and want to drive when the space opened up. Will be a good player in time I think.

Yeah, I thought he looked good when he came on, misplaced a couple of passes but his overall game was good. He'll improve with games.

Think the same. He’s going to be a massive player for us when up to speed.

We’ve gone from having a weak as piss midfield to having something potentially special with a few good signings.

Hopefully more to follow in the summer as well as can’t imagine Emi still being here.

    Thought he was really good.

Wins the ball back well, anticipates play, takes up good positions and tracks his runners.

Also very good on the ball and has ability to drive forward.

Really looking forward to seeing him/our midfield when he’s fully fit.

Welsh needs to play as long as he can in the derby His Energy and drive and determination are exactly what we often lack in a Derby .Just needs to be sure he doesn’t get over enthusiastic and get sent off .
When he went off v Dundee he was defo missed

Don't think we've really lacked drive and determination in derbies for years now. Its quality we lack.

I've got the fear that Bournemouth have a buy back clause

Of course they will. The flip side of this is that without our link to Bournemouth we would never have got Moriah-Welsh in the first place.

We are going to have players here who are a level above and because of that, they’ll get moved on to Bournemouth, Lorient etc after a year or so. However, give me that any day of the week as opposed to bang average players on three year deals that we struggle to a) move on or b) get any semblance of sustained quality from them.

If we can keep him long enough I think he will become captain of the team as he was at Bournemouth youth. Leads by example and it’s been a very impressive start from one of our lower profile signings of the window.

    Spot on.

A bit like worrying about a manager being headhunted by a bigger club, this situation only happens if someone is a resounding success at Hibs - hugely preferable to being shuffled out the back door with some sort of settlement on the remainder of their contract.

Of course you can compare Jeggo and Moriah-Welsh. Both play central midfield, will be asked to track, tackle, close down and then move the ball forward when they have it.

Sure, Moriah-Welsh will be more box to box than Jeggo was, but they both play(ed) the same position for us.
    Agreed. I hate all this ‘he’s a 6/8/10’ nonsense

Any decent centre mid should be able to pick a pass, put in a tackle and cover some ground.

But Russell Latapy, Scott Allan, Matty Jack and Marvin Bartley couldn’t really do all those things?

Has to at the wind up

I've yet to decide which way to bet, but it won't be based on if 'warrior devlin' plays. Hibs are the form team. We'll see

He will definitely get some special treatment, they'll probably take it turns. Hopefully the ref doesn't let them get away with too much.

Ha Ha Ha Hearts had won 11 drawn 1 prior to Saturday including beating Celtic in Glasgow

Hibs earned three points in two months prior to Saturday

I know who the form team is

    Never write the Hearts off

I agree that they’ve got form alright - it's called stealing from the Haig Fund

I'd put money on it, Emi will get smashed early doors, probably by Shankland, who always gets away with it.

Agree kind of overwhelming evidence though think their egos will be dented after Saturday and there will be a reaction. Up to the team and support to be hugely up for it and match them physically early doors. There is no doubt we have players that can punish them that is for sure. Get ahead and their fans will turn quick.

We have our players back and a few decent additions but we are only starting to gel after one game where we looked dangerous on the break and have the players to hurt them but can’t help feeling a blip might be just around the corner as a new experience for some of our players

    🙏

Agree would be surprised if we didn't concede one or two. Corners long throws we are imo weak at.
