Information for all supporters attending our home cinch Premiership game against Dundee.
Firstly, we’d like to thank those supporters who made the trip up to Aberdeen last weekend. The vocal support and encouragement shown was hugely appreciated.
For the match, this weekend supporters are asked to familiarise themselves with the following information.
TICKETING and ENTRY
Hibernian FC tickets are available online at TICKETS - CLICK HERE or in person from the Ticket Hub up to kick-off. With the game kicking off at 3pm, turnstiles will open promptly at 2pm and you are advised to arrive as close as possible to opening to avoid queues at the turnstiles.
As a condition of entry, you may be searched on entry and supporters are reminded that no large bags or rucksacks are permitted within the stadium.
TRAVEL
We have not been advised of any new road works planned on route to Easter Road Stadium for Saturday’s game. Locally there are still some restrictions at Abbeyhill at the end of Regent Road and the usual congestion can be expected at York Place and Leith Street areas. In addition, with large numbers coming to the city for the Rugby International roads and public transport are likely to see delays. You are advised to give ample travel time for your journey.
With the Trams now operating at seven-minute intervals to Leith. The best stops for the Stadium on Leith Walk are McDonald Road and Balfour Street. For more details on the trams and stopped between Edinburgh Airport and Newhaven see the following link: Edinburgh Trams.
For live travel information on the buses and the best service and timings into the Easter Road Area please clip on the following link: Lothian Buses.
For all other up-to-date travel information across Scotland visit: Traveline Scotland and Scottish Road Works.
SEGREGATION
Supporters are advised that the route around the rear of the South Stand will be open before this match. Any change in this arrangement post-match will be communicated via the Stadium PA System during the match.
UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT
We remind all supporters that anyone caught in possession of pyrotechnics, caught throwing objects, causing damage, entering the trackside or field of play, bringing of bottles/cans into the stadium can expect action to be taken. The Club will continue to support the actions of Police Scotland and the Courts in acting against anyone detected carrying out a breach of the Ground Regulations or being involved in Unacceptable Conduct. Regardless, if we are home or away sanctions against any breach may result in the individual facing an indefinite Club Ban, a Football Banning Order or as we have seen elsewhere recently, a custodial sentence. Please don’t be that person!
The use of pyrotechnics is a criminal offence and action will be taken against those caught in possession on the day and similarly anyone identified through the post-match review of CCTV will face similar action sanctions by the Club.
It’s been shown we do not need this at our matches to create an atmosphere. In addition to the toxic fumes that are emitted the disruption to the match is something on a football perspective is not welcomed by the Football Department.
Your club doesn’t want this, the players don’t want this and from communication we have received, supporters don’t want this.
Walkways should be kept clear, and you are asked to take up your designated seat while watching the match. This is not only a Ground Regulations requirement but also in the interest of the safety of all members of the public.
Football is a place where families come together to support their team and Hibernian Football Club prides itself in being a Club for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, colour, gender, religion, creed, and sexual orientation. Please help us keep it this way.
Finally, please listen to and follow instructions given by Police Scotland, Stewards and over the PA System, before, during and after the match.
