I remember reading an interview with him in the evening news shortly after he was appointed and I felt any doubts I might have had about his appointment immediately vanished, the way he spoke and his plans for the club got me onboard straight away. Don’t recall who we were playing at ER but I remember the opposing manager in an after match interview after a severe drubbing from Hibs said there was a period of about half an hour in the game when Hibs were completely unplayable.
