Was surely a reference to his recent booking for simulation and not some kind of ‘fish’ jump as the latest BBC clip suggests.
Why highlight that rather than the appalling VAR blunder?!

Think it was due to the abuse about being a diver he was getting on twitter.
*Beat me to it

Some fans on Facebook were critical cos they worried he could have injured himself.
I put their minds at rest by reassuring them he would have practiced it in training. 😉

Is a 'fish jump' even a thing? I've seen leaping salmon but they don't jump like that.

It was similar to the calibration of Patterson when he scored for Hertz a few years back?
I thought he looked an idiot, Boyler a wee bit the same!!!

I thought it was funny. I still do.Every gimmick hungry yob,
Digging gold from rock and roll
Grabs the mic to tell us,
He'll die before he's sold.

It's a FIFA celebration too, probably a mix of them both! Similar to the Suarez/Moyes incident

Might be just growing increasingly old and grumpy, but the club posted about this on Twitter/X today and it rightly went down like a lead balloon. Tone deaf. Wish this obsession with trying to win the admin of the year competition would pipe down until we atleast have a team performing on the park week after week.
But I’ll get back in my box.

As much as I enjoyed the celebration there’s a part of me that thinks it probably hasn’t helped in diluting the narrative of Martin Boyle’s reputation as a diver.
He says he enjoys a bit of tooing and froing with fans online and it’s all good natured fun, but it might just keep the pot bubbling and I’m not sure it’ll help much the next time he’s clipped in the box in getting a decision going in his favour!
