Yep, we've done much, much worse than Christian Doidge, wasn't a fan when he arrived, am one now. All down to how he applied himself.

Really liked Doidge. Worked hard and had a few runs where they would just bounce in off him! Not the same after his injury but good luck to him.

The closest I've seen at the club to a guy that played as if he had the technical ability of someone plucked from the stand but through sheer will and determination made it work. His sclaffed goals were a thing of beauty.
If he hadn't had that awful injury I'm confident he'd still be our #9.

Never hid. Will always remember his hat-trick at St Johnstone to end his goal drought. Really missed him defensively when he got injured.

Looking back at a news article when we signed him, it revealed that the previous season he had scored 14 goals, earned a lon move to Bolton who then agreed a £1M fee for a permanent deal with Forest Green Rovers.
