I'd rather he kept his cards close to his chest to be honest. I don't really feel the need to know in advance what his plans are as long as he's doing a good job. I'd say the recruitment has been significantly better since he's arrived but we have a few years of neglect/incompetent recruitment to overcome so it's not going to be an overnight job.

If the loans can propel us up the league and change our performances then he'll deserve the credit. Time will tell.

There would be a business case for letting him go and a business case for keeping him. Results aren't good enough. Fact and with the statistics to prove it. It wouldn't be moronic to hold your hands up and admit you had hoped for better. You could argue that it would be moronic to persevere with the wrong man for fear of losing face.
Not that I think we're doing that. The club obviously have a lot of faith in Monty and his playing style. Faith that still needs to be realised in performances and results though.

Was he recruited by Kensell and:or Ian Gordon as well?
Might be another worth punting if so. A proper clear out.

McDermott seems all for the manager going by his interview before the game.

Wouldn’t trust him with another managerial appointment tbh. Or another transfer window.

Hopefully the Black Knight guys can send us someone that can run the football operations / pick a decent manager / plan a decent transfer window.

McDerrmot was a decent manager, I don’t believe he watches us and thinks we’re any good

Another failure of an appointment. Crying out for experienced & capable defenders and he recruits 3 x 20yr old loan defenders. Shambles

Our recruitment since Ross left has been a disgrace. I haven't seen anything from BM to suggest it is going to change soon.
We might have millions to spend in the summer but it won't get us anywhere if it's the same people spending it.

I've never understood why so many people on here have spoken about him as if he's some sage of the game.
Quite how he approached that window just gone with the idea that two 20 year old, pretty much untried centre halves, as being the answer to our on-going issues there, is beyond me.

Brian McDermott has said more than once he was surprised he got the Hibs job.
Kind of says it all that.
Doesn't it ?

They said they wanted someone with experience of Scottish fitba and then appoint someone with no experience of Scottish fitba . Ian Gordon and Ben Kensell have no clue about running fitba side of a fitba club

Can anyone here seriously say that recruitment has improved since Mathie left. Really.
Recruitment has had loads more money at their disposal than Mathie had, yet the squad we have now is a disaster.

Spoke to Brian in the Chairman's Club after the game and some arse tried to give him it tight.
Fair play to him he kept his cool and walked away from daft.
Clear to see he wasn't happy with the performance today

He can go with the manager he appointed, quite what he adds or has improved is a mystery.
Maybe Black Knight employ some folk who know what they’re doing…
