    Dundee v Visitors

    Dundee V Visitors.

Match announcer never said the club name.

    Substitute for visitors etc.

    Very petty.

Under the instructions of the manager at the time. Can’t remember who that was though.

We were visitors, who in the right mind would wish to be local.

    Who'd want to visit Dundee?

It wasn’t that that bothered me. It was creepy Crocodile Dundee their mascot. Ugly looking thing would give kids nightmares

Dundee is a superb city. Check out the Riverside area for a start before trundling out the same old clichés.

I went to university in Dundee, I don’t think it’s a cliché based on my experiences.

The change in Dundee over the past decade has been incredible. It really is a great place to visit now. Once the Eden Project is up and running it’s going to be even more attractive.
    Every gimmick hungry yob,

Good to hear! I haven’t been up in quite a few years, I’ll need to give it another chance.

I grew up in Carnoustie and Dundee's a great city. Away with the elitist pish.

I think it depends on when you went to Uni at Dundee - so much has changed in the last 10 years. I used to think it was right tip..but My daughter went there to do her Masters and I was impressed by how much had changed. It's no Monte Carlo, but it's not a tip either.

I've always enjoyed away tripos to Dundee and Dundee Utd. No issue with the city or their supporters.

I don't mind it. Anything that gives you the slightest advantage is fair game IMO.

At least one Premiership club down south has players lockers for the away dressing room underneath the benches. There's apparently something psychological in it, having to crouch down more often than not.

If it gives you 0.00001% of an advantage, then we should be doing it.

Do you think your security can keep you in purity, you will not shake us off above or below. Scottish friction, Scottish fiction

I agree - Nothing to be upset about.

That was certainly prevalent when I lived in Dundee 13 years ago or so, first place I ever saw people openly injecting drugs on the street. I'm sure that happens all over the place but I saw it multiple times in the city centre, never seen it anywhere else.

Glad to read from others on here that it has improved since then, I did have some good times whilst I was there.

I'm not sure I'd want to stay there but always enjoy a wee jaunt up there. Mind you, I'd say the same about Blackpool so, it's maybe not saying that much! 🙂

I'm another one in the fan of Dundee camp. If they could just decant the place a few miles north or south so it wasn't on that big hill I'd be inclined to visit more often.

Dundee is a superb city. Very good creative scene, lots of good places to eat and drink, and good people.

I also studied and have lived in Dundee for a few years.
