I’ve only got it on the radio but Michael Stewart who says he normally thinks keepers are over protected (and is no stranger to criticising us) thought it was totally ridiculous that the referee never blew straight away as was a clear clattering foul.

Starting a 16 year old with less than 70 mins match experience at this level at right back is either brave..or mad.

He did say he would give youth a chance so will be interesting how he copes starting a game The couple of times I have seen him playing further forward I thought he lacked pace and he won’t last full game
