They should sneak over the line, but it going to be close and it really shouldn't have.

It wasn't. There were 28 points to play for, it was 19-9 in Whistling Straits

Never fails to deliver. Great event. Bob Macintyre 2.5 points from a possible 3. What a debut what a performance. Took down the US Open champion today. So pleased for him. Hopefully this gives him huge belief going forward.

Yep well done Bob good to see him get the points and be unbeaten and shut some of the weakest link chat that some were indulging in.

If Luke fancies it then he should definitely be allowed to captain again!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

I'll obviously be hoping that Bob McIntyre plays well in the games he plays in but I still can't help feeling that he's the weakest player in the team and I would have selected Meronk before him.

However he is in the team on merit and nobody can deny that that's a fact.

It will be bacon roll and coffee time for me at 6.30am on Friday - I'm really looking forward to the big clash.

Aye he certainly was the weak link 🤣 2.5 points out of 3

I've always felt that it should be a two term job

Tbf it wasn't an unpopular opinion.

Donald obviously had doubts too. Bob looked like a lost boy in the Friday afternoon session and relied heavily on Rose. To his credit, in the Saturday afternoon session he turned a wobbly start around and contributed to Europe's only point.

He won his match impressively on the Sunday.

He'll hopefully go on to show how good a player he is at the next level and be a ryder cup contributor in years to come.

It's about time we had a Scot at the top table again.

There was another Scot on the course who maybe didn't perform his role too well.......
