Hibs Beat Off Rivals Hearts To Capture Signing Of Playmaker Dylan Levitt

They'll be spitting feathers to convince you otherwise but Levitt has weighed up his options and decided to be a Hibee rather than a Jambo, and to be honest can you blame him?

He's probably thought to himself, alright, let's think here, so, at Hearts I'd be working under Steven Naismith, but, hmm, bit strange for an established club who I think I've heard refer to themselves as the 'Big Team', it's abit suspect that Naismith has been appointed manager.... but they've not even announced him under that title because the guy doesn't even have all the correct badges and paperwork to even own that title yet, in his first ever Manageral position. Yeah, hmm, that reeks of small time. Right Dylan think, think, put that amature-like manager situation to the side, what else to compare? Ok, training grounds, where I'll be doing alot of my work. Wait, didn't the Scotland camp raise pitch safety concerns over Hearts training complex recently? I don't like that, come to think of it, I don't think Hearts even own that complex and instead just rent?! Right, Hibs for that one, much much nicer and the fact they own it outright. Stadiums, hmm Tynecastle looks a bit weathered and older, wait, oh God it's even smaller than Easter Road aswel?!

Ok ok, I can't really remember many trophies for Hearts recently but they must have won a few because they call themselves the Big Team, ok let's check this out, I know Hibs won the Scottish Cup in 2016 because, well, who could have missed those epic celebrations, Hearts must have won that Cup more recently though, wait, longer ago than Hibs, 2012?! Jesus, I think I had an iPhone 4 in my hand back then! Ok ok, wait they'll have the League Cup over them, definitely have to have won that more recently than Hib....wait, surely not, I'm seeing 1962 here online, 61 years?!?!

Ach to hell with this, it's a no brainer, hiring an ex Striker that's never been a manager and doesn't even have the badges yet to officially call himself one, safety hazzard rented training ground, smaller older worn down stadium, Christ the list is probably endless, what was I even thinking?!

'Hello Hibs? I'm on my way, f*** the Hearts'

Whole conversation witnessed and passed on to social media by his wife. Fact! 😁

Look at the amount of players who have left Hibs with the career on an upwards trajectory with a good sell on clause.

Apart from Hickey, they’ve had nobody.

If you are young and wanting to further take career, then Hibs are a far more attractive proposition all round.

I'd far rather give hearts a beat down than beat off, tbh

Was going to say that it’s certainly an unexpected negotiation tactic.

    Heard the same.

Guaranteed if it had been the other way round they’d have made mention of it in their official announcement.

Great point, we have sold some amount of good talent, recently and going back years. Real positive that we got this deal done. Over to Dylan now.

That is it in a nutshell, add in the potential they have ignored or ruined and there is only one choice.

Why would anyone want to sign for a club who's 'manager' is disguised as a technical director because he doesn't have the licence to actually be a football manager.

They are an absolute basket case of a football club. More relegations than trophies since Dylan was about 7 years old.

They are the most delusional fan base in Scotland. Hibernian football club will always be looked at from those with an understanding of football as the biggest club in Edunburgh.

The choice between an attractive and vibrant club like Hibs or a stuffy, musty old boring club like Hearts? A no brainer for any young player with ambition to improve and progress.

Us or a club who don't even know who their actual manager is? Well done Hibs and welcome Dylan

Credit to the recruitment team for this one, if beating off some Jambo is what it takes, well done for getting it done.

The boy is a really decent signing. I am sure that he is viewing the move up here as a springboard to better things and although it has gone a bit Pete Tong at Tannadice, getting on board with us is good news for him and us. Hopefully we will see him back in the reckoning for a call up to the Wales Squad.

Hearts got less than £100k for their sell on clause for Hickey when he went to Brentford for £16m.

Can just imagine Nasal Naibadges, McEvoy and Savage all in the hearts board room not overlooking the castle all fighting over the phone trying to speak to Levitts agent, Im boss, no Im boss, no Im boss, you were boss last week !!

With old rubber chops Budge sitting in the corner in her rocking chair, steeping her falsers in Craig Latrines foosty old hearts league winners 86 mug and sooking on a short bread, shrugging her shoulders saying, thats ma boys 🤣
