City tactics not working tonight, can't pass your way through a team like Real, not enough shots on goal.

  4. #15153
Glad City are out after the weeks of City are to good not to win the champs league.

Real Madrid just find a way so many times, even when it’s far from a brilliant Real Madrid team.
Predictable. All that crap from the commentators about how Real Madrid hadn't done enough in the game.

Bet365 have Dortmund v PSG down as 8pm Monday 29th April for some reason

  13. #15162
Final at Wembley with no English team. What a shame.

  14. #15163
An all German final with Dortmund winning would be amusing after Kane didn’t win the German cup and didn’t win the German league.

More likely, I think it’ll be PSG and Madrid that go through.

Only an fa cup in all the years Arteta has been there and after all the money they have spent, dreadful.
Seems harsh. Pretty sure they weren't even in the top half of the table when he came in so he's done a good rebuilding job to have had them in title contention over the last two seasons. Testament to a club givng a young manager time to get things right.

Used to watch a lot of football when I lived in London. QPR were nearest and I liked going to Loftus Road but a trip to Highbury was something special too (never been to the Emirates). Did Hibs not copy Arsenal's white sleeves - or was it the other way round?

The obscene money the big 5 or 6 spend is all but irrelevant these days. You just have to spend it well. And when you consider that in his first managerial job he was playing catch-up on Pep and Kloss he's done pretty well.

Pretty sure thats a lot less than United and Chelsea. And they have a much lower wage bill than their rivals. He is doing a very good job IMO.

All probably within the box and only 9 on target, even the commentators mentioned the fact that they don't shoot enough from outside the box, by the time the ball does get into the box Real had 10 men inside to bock it, all pretty stuff but Real are a top side and not a mid table Premier team that fold under the pressure.

I’m not a massive fan of them but I do like British teams to do well in Europe other than Sevco and Celtic - and hertz

Britain is the name of the island we all live on and the British people were the Celtic people that lived here before the island was invaded by other folk

Using the term British doesn’t mean I’m a unionist

I think they probably will go on and win it, but they were lucky last night. Man City battered them. 67% of the ball, 33 shots to 8, 18 corners to 1.

Ancelotti pulling out a great Derek McInnes-esque managerial performance to get the win.

Play on nothing to see here

Imagine watching a team win like that, it must be hellish.

Some good prices for the football tonight, I've done Roma, Atalanta, Lille and Fiorentina to win and Marseille v Benfica as a draw. I'll get £475 if it comes in.
