I bought my first ever season ticket a couple months ago, not sure how it works but do they stagger the issuing of season tickets, current holders first, new holders next, for instance?

I wouldn’t worry about that yet. I’ve had mine for a few years and still haven’t received anything, just your luck when the batch your’s is in gets sent out I think.

The Ticket Hub are making good progress on sending out season ticket packs - envelopes are still being packed and sent out on a daily basis (batches of 1000). All in, this will take a couple of weeks to complete.

Digital tickets will be sent out once all the packs have been completed.

I've heard they allocate ST purchasers points for uber fan-ness and good looks. They combine the points and post out in order based on highest points down to lowest.

That would explain why I got mine last week.

Kieran any idea why the cards are sent out as standard ? Seems an easy way to reduce plastic allowing fans to opt in ?

Ahh, so that's why I had a personal call from Kensell before the end of last season asking if it was ok for him to personally hand deliver my season ticket in May. All makes sense now.

Something we’re looking at and moving to towards. This is our third season using Digital cards.

Physical cards are still the preferred entry method and will always be required for those that need them ✅

Never had that problem, I suppose it depends on the size of your phone.

Interestingly, I could never get my iPhone 12 to scan using Apple Wallet. The code was always in the wrong place for the scanner. I had to use the Stocard app to get it so it was in a suitable position. I upgraded to an iPhone 14 Plus, and weirdly it works fine now, despite being a bigger phone.

iphone 8 with a cover. My eldest mocks me when this happens, but he can't get it to scan either.

The cover has a folding front for access to the screen, if you bend it back it won't fit under the scanner

My phone doesn't fit in the scanner either. I think I ended up screenshotting my ST and moved it about in pic editor so it was at the bottom of my screen, saved it and used that from my gallery. 9 times out of 10 I use my card though.

You'll receive a digital ST via email then upload it to your Apple wallet from there by clicking on an "add" button. At least that's what it was last season.

Mine arrived this morning

Looking at folk debating the merits of a physical card versus the digital version made me think. Why isn't their an option to have the QR code tattooed onto the back of your hand at the ticket office, no chance of not getting in coz you've forgotten your ticket or phone
