    Putting him in for the last game of the season where nothing other than bragging rights is riding on it would be utter madness. Give him a proper pre season and have him ready to go for next season.

    Win this and we’re 4th, meaning we can shout on Inverness to win the cup, which would mean Hearts in the League cup group stage and Aberdeen missing out on 3m plus.

    Let’s be honest scottish clubs never qualify via qualifiers so it’s not like anything is really achieved by getting 4th or 5th. Certainly nothing worth risking your best player for one game. Anyway he’s not playing so it’s end of discussion.
