The road from Haymarket to Roseburn is open. It's closed in the other direction.

He's the only reason this non-telivised European shoot-out shouldn't be moved to Murrayfield but yes that road will indeed be closed in One Direction.

It will be the usual long queues and checks at the away end so definitely early or miss kick off.

Would also be good if the hibs fans could actually get into the stand early and get right behind the team in the warm up.

Maybe the Block 7 lads could get themselves into the stand early to create a bit of atmosphere rather than having the usual sing-song in the concourse pre-game. Not a dig, just an observation.

Done to all of us, not just Block7. We shouldn’t need any cheerleaders when we go there. The concourse sing song doesn’t do anything to help though.

Totally agree. Let's crank it up in the stands where the players can feel it.

Turnstiles supposed to open at 11am. Still closed at 11.15am.

What's the point in saying turn up early but don't open upon time?

The clubs moaning about our away end at ER never have this nonsense to deal with every big game at the bus shelter

    Absolutely disgraceful today.

Kids were getting squashed in amongst the chaos with those ***** on the horses completely ****ing up the entry in.

I bet the crowds at murrayfield won’t be treated the way we were today.

Was a shambles getting in. I was at the ground for 12 and just made kick off.

2 ticket checks before the turnstile and a pat down search and the Hibs end was still well over capacity. Loads of people standing on stairways and on the concourse between the 'lower and upper tier'.

Makes you wonder what the point is.

That horses as gates entry system was a disgrace. Bottlenecking people towards to huge animals which are highly trained but surely still an added risk.

Inside was a joke as well. I couldn't see anything that was close to our goal due to folk standing in the concourse. Guy in the row in front of me was nearly fighting with the kids standing on the barrier.

It's a tip of a stadium and the stewards are a complete waste of time.

A bit of a shambles getting in. The mess inside inside ground, especially in the lower tier was all down to selfish entitled Hibs fans deciding they could sit where they wanted. Especially if it was close to the prime seated Block 7 guys. The guys at the end smashing up seats couldn’t care less either, even when people told them Hibs would be footing the bill. Plenty of us spent the first half standing in the aisle where there were more than a few scared kids as the crowd surged.

Disappointing to hear as arriving early usually protects you (in particular ppl with kids) getting caught up in the drama. The stuff inside the ground needs sorted by the club. We used to have security officials in the crowd and maybe its time for that again. Its the same issues we are slating the away fans for at Easter road

Definitely is a problem with folk overcrowding areas to be with their mates. Guy came along our row stopped in front of me and stood. Tapped him on the shoulder and said he must be lost or in the wrong section (he was) but he got arsey. Eventually moved but not to where he should have been.

I mean, what makes folk think its OK to just stand in front of someone else, in the same row blocking their view and causing unsafe congestion?

It's why the ticket shambles needs sorting. All these single tickets cause this kind of stuff - and the ridiculous seat numbering certainly doesn't help things.

The seat numbering isn't ideal but it really isn't hard. Go to the right section and then find the right seat number. Drink and coke seems to make it a more complicated process mind you

What need is there for it at all? Makes no sense. Same at Livi, too.

Agree its the intoxicated and hard of thinking who struggle with it but unfortunately that is part and parcel of the derby for so many.

The entitled intoxicated are the biggest issue, mind 🙈😉

They'd be as well making it sit anywhere from now on if they aren't going to have enough stewards to sort it.

I'll just be trying for tickets from row 15 and above from now on.

had to contend with Block 7 / teenage fuds who wanted to squash into row 6 right down next to the jambos. few older guys beside us didn't appear back in the second half due to the wee fannies being in there seats.

Its a ****ing joke and more people need to call them out on it.

Ironically up towards the back - row 24ish - we had plenty of empty seats, I surmise due to these very reasons.

I don’t have any complaints with how the Police handled the situation outside the ground: it was perfectly obvious that the horse blockade was to prevent the overwhelming of the turnstiles and as has been said above, if folk concentrated on finding their seats instead of crowding the concourse singing songs about Philip Schofield (at a Hibs game - WTF?) there would be no bottleneck.

The horseback Police were pretty reasonable all round, but the abuse and antagonism generated a group of clearly antagonised 20-somethings outside, who I suspect had not simply been drinking alcohol pre-match, led to a fairly hostile atmosphere which was entirely unnecessary.

How do so many young bams get tickets for derbies at tiny? Is it just a generational thing about being better at online ticket queues?

No idea, but there is something about this fixture, particularly when at Tynecastle that brings out a bampottery amongst our more youthful supporters that I don’t see anywhere else. Most likely something to do with the fact that you had no chance of using a toilet cubicle today for its normal purpose, and so many young men were emerging from the loos wide-eyed and with apparently itchy noses. I never particularly enjoy this match, but today was a new low.
