Welcome home to a genuine modern day Hibernian hero.

His ability is one thing, but his character and identity with the club is another huge factor.

Buzzing to see him back in a Hibs jersey!

But but but Ron The Con, asset stripping, running the club into the ground, blah blah blah.

Hope BBC have got it right, the best news we could hope for.

It’s Hibs that are announcing the news - BBC just reporting on earlier media releases!

Yes, can see it’s on Hibs official Twitter from about 10 minutes ago, fantastic news.

I wonder if we will ever hear the real story of the finances of this deal from the day he left, how much we even received. Never mind, a great start to the weekend.

Do we know if he'll be in the squad for tomorrow or watching the game from a pub in Glasgow?

  10. #10
I really hope everyone tries and get to Easter Road early tomorrow and are in their seats before 11:45am. I know most people make a mad dash to get through the turnstiles, but tomorrow is going to be very busy. You don't want to be on the outside complaining about the ticketing services, when everyone else is welcoming a legend.

For one day, wouldn't it be great if the team could see a full Easter Road when they exit the dressing room tunnel. Let's get Easter Road bouncing.

    There's a star man............

Oooft!!!! This is going to be some season. Even his presense back at the club will have an impact on our forwards. Definitive home win the morn, set the tone for the season to come. Yams havenae got a defence that will cope.

Will we receive money from FIFA for having a player at the World Cup? Sure it's a decent amount.

……. as long as handing over that windfall to the Saudis isn’t part of the deal.

Just have to wait 10 weeks for the work permit to come through.

    Only joking 😉

Not sure I am happy about parading him before the match. Could be a recipe for a disastrous result in the game. We will see but pride often comes before a fall…

I may sound a bit soppy here but this news actually brought a tear to my eye he's special to us and it was heart breaking when he left but what a feeling it is having our starman back. Welcome home Martin Boyle and well done to the club for bringing him back.

Anyone know what the process is to get him registered to play, timescales etc? Looks as though he’s had an off season, holidaying with family, I guess he’ll need a pre-season before we’ll see him on the pitch.
