I'd be in favour of a club-wide ban on players drinking at all during the season and drinking at any time when recovering from injury.

You can get pissed out of your mind every weekend once you retire. Right now you should be doing everything you can to maintain fitness and performance. Our season ticket money shouldn't go on getting wasted.
