Italy are being demolished by France. Expected a lot better from Italy.
Why? The countries who have traditionally excelled at the mens game don’t coincide with the top women’s nations and why should they?

    Every gimmick hungry yob,

Italy are a strong womens side now. That first half was far from expected.

I watch a wee bit of womens football. 😂. Italy have improved hugely in the last few years including draws with Spain and Sweden. They’ve been awful tonight though

I worked at the Portugal v Switzerland game today. Fantastic atmosphere, great to be a part of. We’ve got the Dutch on Wednesday, complete with fan march, so that should be interesting!
I've got tickets for the Quarter final at Leigh. Hopefully the Dutch win that group because its the winner of that group verses the runner up of Frances group.

What's your role if you don't mind me asking?

Aye the best bit was the half time analysis. I keep trying but I'm not getting women's football at all.

The last two games I watched were very good. Norway England in an hour are both much stronger outfits than NornIron and Austria.

I'll give it a go. I just can't get that Scotland defensive fiasco out of my mind in that game against Argentina (?) in the World Cup. Haven't watched a women's game since until the Ireland game the other day but that didn't last very long.

Ticket office manager (albeit at this stage it’s mainly a customer service role given UEFA control all the ticketing via the app, though of course I’ve been involved in all kinds of elements of the planning for three years now!)

At Leigh SV? I'll bob in and say hi when I'm up for a Utd Women's game some time.

    Women's Euro 2022

O dear that’s a blatant dive from Whyte! Pen given.

    Shocking stuff of Kane proportions

Good to see that the standard of refereeing here is as bad as the SPL. What a terrible dive and even worse decision.

I'm assuming there is no VAR?

If the Whyte challenge was a pen her challenge was a foul!

    A hammering for Norway

  25. #144
The penalty was a sin but the gulf between the teams this half has been significant.

Not a good result for NI. It effectively sends them home with Norway to play Austria in the last game.

  26. #145
Norway have excellent players behind the striker but seems their defenders and central midfield just can’t cope with the intensity of Englands play.

Could still see Norway getting a goal though

5 now too easy for England

You’ve got to admire the clinical finishing - some brilliant build up play.

    Norway are totally shell shocked

Don’t think the keeper had much chance with any of the England goals 🤷🏼*♂️
