2-0. Great run from the left back and finished by number 9

How did megwa play? From the couple times I seen him last season he looked a no nonsense commanding centre back.

Played RB. Good solid game. Been impressed with both full backs. Balde, number 6 in midfield has been very good too. Prepared to take the ball and run with it

No offence to Preston Athletic but this score underlines why the club are right to tread a different path with the development squad rather than joining the lowland league. With the exception of 2/3 teams, the standard in that league is not very good.

Massive difference to the EoS league which Preston Athletic play in compared to the Lowland League.

Big fall from grace over the years for Preston. They were touted to get into the league system when I think Annan went in instead of them?

Balde balance, and reading of the game was different class.
Connor Young big strong lad, good finisher.
I enjoyed both games for the under 18, but Balde looks a better prospect than Tait.
Preston we’re poor so it’s hard to tell.

Opposition were poor tonight but still some impressive performances I thought. Connor Young certainly knows where the goal is and that second goal was a great move. The left back Macintyre has plenty of running power as well similar to Doig.

    He's a right back?

Thought Balde looked a class above, great awareness and won't be too far off the first team squad, Blaney playing alongside Daz at the back done well, he can certainly pick out a pass, Keith Wright's laddie Harry also done well when he came on late in the game.

By Sauzee I can mind Harry being born. That can't be possible 😆

I'm not 100% sure but it could of been a back three he was playing, anyway hopefully another decent youngster to push on in the next few years.

Josh O’Connor still injured I take it? Must have been a bad one, he’s been out for months

Naturally a right back. He played RB last night and LB against Tranent. Great prospect.

Offence taken. I take it you don’t look at Scotlands pyramid system too often. Preston are literally leagues away from the Lowland League. If both Rangers and Celtics B team couldn’t win the Lowland last year then that in itself shows that the Lowland League is a good standard. They certainly didn’t get it their own way last year and I doubt Hibs would too.

Aren’t they just one league away ? Premier division of the east of Scotland league.
