I’d get onto Twitter and start publicly messaging them.

I paused mine no problems. Wasn't a hibs promo though

I got mine cancelled reasonably easily.

Just email them asking to cancel the subscription. Signed up and cancelled loads of times over the years to take up promo boxes.

No point emailing them. I did that and never received a reply. Just give them a ring and they will ask why you are cancelling, but I said I was going out more after lockdown and was getting more healthy, so not drinking at home and she was fine. As a side note, it should be law that if you can sign up for something online you should be able to cancel the same way.

Aye it was brutal trying to cancel, I gave up and my girlfriend ended up on the phone with them for a while. Also ask them to take you off their contacting list because they still send me emails to this day asking me to sign back up from different emails. Good luck

I remember it being a nightmare years ago. So much so that I was tempted to turn up at their office in the New Town and demand it be cancelled. Eventually got through on the phone at the ten millionth attempt!

Thanks everyone. I'll just persevere then and maybe have a go at them on twitter as well.

I've always found them very easy to deal with, although that's always been over the phone. Very easy to pause and un-pause your subscription as well.

I had a nightmare time of it trying to cancel during one of the lockdowns.

Tell them that you’re cancelling due to health reasons, mines was cancelled within minutes no questions asked.

I’ve found the “excuse” isn’t a problem - they don’t care. The problem is the wait until the queue while “they’re busy dealing with customers calls” - if you hold long enough it’s easy to cancel or accept the reduced deal on the next months delivery.
