It's just keane being keane. He regularly makes jokes like that. Gary Neville is usually the butt of them.

    He's quite a funny man.

Wasn't that bad a manager either, probably would have done a better job than the last two we had IMO.

I'd have rather had him than Lee Johnson that's for sure.

Love Roy Keane read both his books.

Think it was very much said in a joking manner. I heard it as a wee dig too as he probably didn’t get the job when he was heavily linked I reckon

It’s Banter, he slags every team off, he also says MS gave as good as he got, even throwing table tennis bats at Roy. Brilliant podcast, don’t forget these guys won loads at the top level of the game.

and in one of his books he said he was basically given the runaround by our midfield at Easter Road when he played for Celtic. Clearly a joke on the show.

I can see why at face value someone would take it the wrong way but I listen to the podcast weekly and it’s just Keane being Keane. He’s alright

There will be a reason why he's not been a Manager for over 10 years. The gravy train down South has handed out a decent living to some familiar faces and he isn't one of them.

The media gravy train seems to have been alright to Keane - he must be getting about 250k a year at least to keep him going on top of any investments from the money he made as a player

What has he ever done… management wise…

Not a single thing, he will never be a success as a manager

Where do you have to be on the list to be one of the best of all time? He was good but he’s not even top 100 of all time.
Name the 100 ahead of him please.
