You'd think it would be someone who knows Scottish football with it being very close to the end of the season and a manager needing to tell the club what recruitment he'll need in the summer, not a lot of time for a new guy to see what he's got with no knowledge

People taking the piss about Bartley but he talks very well about football generally and wider issues in the game, and has the respect of dressing rooms, so he is already miles ahead of Maloney.
Too early for him at Hibs of course, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a good managerial career.

I think they should appoint everyone on here and Hibs Twitter to manage the club. Let’s keep everyone happy

A mix of the predictable and the ridiculous from lazy journos.
Sean Dyche “worked on a shoestring” - relative to Man City, yes. Relative to anyone in Scotland, no.
The worry is who with any real understanding of what is needed is involved in recruitment

Sean Dyche is a laughable shout from that rag. Theres more chance of us reappointing Butcher than that happening

Sort the structure, head coach or manager? i'm in favour of the former but our last few windows were pretty shoddy when we did have a recruitment team
IF Knutsen is available, go get him.
I said Ole when JR was sacked. Stand by that now if he was attainable
I felt things were going well off the park when RG came in, looking to grow us as a brand, he's since spoke about clubs in Spain that he would like to use as a template. Well now is the time to implement and get cracking Ron

My worry is that he has not long departed a similar set up to us at Aberdeen where his relationship with a clueless owner deteriorated and results followed.
His early years at Aberdeen were good, both results and performances. Bring in the right support network and let him concentrate on football and he'd do fine.PM Awards General Poster of The Year 2015, 2016, 2017. Probably robbed in other years

I'd go with a multi choice poll on DotNet, so we can just pick the manager ourselves.

Neil Warnock
Ian Holloway
Derek McInnes
Neil Lennon
All potentially available and would do a good job imo.
Dyche is unrealistic, will never happen.

Might be worth looking at him and Martindale to come as Manager and Assistant.

Unless we are bringing in someone from abroad I'd say KT is almost a cert for it.

Derek McInness or Malky Mackay i think would have us back up in top four next season. Woud they fit in to the structure? Not sure.

McInnes is the only one I'd even consider out of that lot."...when Hibs won the Scottish Cup final and that celebration, Sunshine on Leith? I don’t think there’s a better football celebration ever in the game.”
