    Please play something like a 3-5-2 or a 4-3-3.

Apart from against 10 man Motherwell, it hasn't worked with one ( or 3) up top either to be fair.

    3-5-2 for me.
Playing a midfield 3 means Campbell in there as Stevenson will have to go to LWB. Not for me unless Doyle-Hayes is back.

You could play JDH, Newell and Henderson or even jasper more advanced of the 3

As long as that huddy Drey Wright doesn’t play and we start a game with 11 rather than 10, we’ve got a chance.

They rogered us at ER the last game. We’ve got to fight for this one!

    We could go

    Rocky
    Hanlon
    Stevenson

    Cadden
    JDH
    Newell
    Doig

    Mueller/Jasper as a 10

    Doidge/Jasper
    Melkersen

Not if Hanlon is back and Doig plays LWB

Ah yes, Drey Wright. The cause of all our problems.

Hoping Clarke and Hanlon can play with either Rocky or Lewis in back 3 allowing Doig to play left mid. Henderson or Mueller supporting Jasper and Elias.

That's it. Have a go at one of our better players recently.

Porteous has been playing very well recently yet you're constantly on his back.

I've given Porteous praise when he deserves it and that's been often. He's arguably our most influential player when he's on the park.

Drey Wright described as one of our better players shows how far we have fallen and are struggling.

The guy is nowhere good enough to play in our midfield.
Wright / Campbell / JDH could be the weakest midfield in SPL.

    Powder puff.

Folk have been talking about him doing well because he’s been running about a bit. An attacking player who offers absolutely nothing in attack. Shouldn’t be anywhere near the team.

    Keeper

    Cadden
    Rocky
    Hanlon
    Doig

    Henderson
    JDH
    Newell

    Jasper
    Melkersen
    Mueller

That’s what I’d like to see.
It will be a 343 again though.

Agreed. He improved from dreadful to mediocre and now everybody seem to think he's the new Messiah. He's not; he's not even a naughty boy.

This game v Utd is enormous.

Win it, get to 40 points (above Utd) into 4th, and likely with the best goal difference of the whole chasing pack.

It would leave us with a 1 point advantage over Utd, & any winner of the Motherwell/St Mirren fixture, with Livi v Motherwell still to come the following week (meaning all those clubs can't all get 6 points from the 2 upcoming games) plus we'd be at least 2 points above Aberdeen.

Basically a win v Utd puts us 4th and in the driving seat, for the top 6 finish.

Lose v Utd and we will likely go into the derby double header 9th (with only Dundee, St Johnstone and the loser of Motherwell/St Mirren below us) and needing a win at Tynecastle plus a range of snookers from other games.

Let's hope the 2 weeks the squad & manager have to prepare for it is well used

He needs to change the shape. Simple as that.

    Dabrowski

    Cadden
    Rocky
    Hanlon
    Doig

    Henderson
    JDH
    Newell

    Muller
    Melkersen
    Jasper

Nope just a very easy scapegoat which is unfair.

This should be the team. Has to change the shape and get away from this back 3 and 2 holding players as it doesn’t give us enough going forward.

At least give it a go - otherwise it will end 0v0 or we will lose.

It's going to get ugly if Maloney doesn't change the system and still loses this game.

It seems to be staring most fans in the face but not the manager, always a worrying sign if you ask me ...

Dont see why he should change the shape more to do with getting more attacking players on the pitch imo. Doig to left mid Cadden right mid Henderson or Mueller with Jasper behind Elias.
