    Well..well...well...

Ireland V Scotland will be two great games. They can go either way.

Scotland have been much better than us for a while but the Irish team is starting to come together.

Poor start under Kenny but that had more to do with him bringing in a lot of u21's and implementing a new style. We no longer play boring long ball. It's taken time but we're finally starting to play good football and finished the campaign well.

Hopefully Ireland and Scotland finish 1st and 2nd, with Ireland first of course

    1st. Ukraine
    2nd. Scotland
    3rd. Ireland
    4th. Armenia

Be tight between Scotland and Ireland.

Am I right in reading that UEFA haven’t confirmed that the nations league will be an extra avenue into Euro 2024 yet? No doubt they will but it’s not black and white just yet.

Yep, it's been like that for the last Euros too. Pretty sure that's how Scotland qualified?

I just assumed it would be the same as the Euro 2020 qualification.

Doubly important that we win this. Potential back door to qualification. We become a pot 2 team for the Euro qualifiers and we promote ourselves into group B for the next round of Nations League games.

The reason it's not been confirmed is that there are only 3 spare spaces this time, not 4. It's likely that league D won't get a slot this time, as that league is now much smaller, following reorganisation, however they are yet to confirm, as I think a few people are upset.

Do any supporters club members know if 8 points will be enough to get a ticket for Dublin? I don't want to book flights if I've no chance of a ticket.

To answer my own question, there are 6480 people with 9 points or more so it depends how many tickets we get I guess.

Well Im English and I think thats a cracking group, cant wait. Thats the purpose of the Nations League isnt it? Why would you want to play as easy opposition as you can?

I have to agree here. "Easy" groups in most recent tournaments have not helped England's preparations for the tournament proper. Qualifying easily is better than not qualifying at all but I reckon it leaves you unprepared to face the bigger teams. I get the rationale behind seeding but skooshing a group IMO does you no favours.

I agree they are starting to come together but its from a very low bar. I like what Kennys trying to do & it's impressive it looks like he's going to get the time to do it. I'd fancy Scotland in both games on current form. Hopefully if we manage to qualify Ireland do to....Just below us though so I can strut around the village for a bit

Would you guys expect the home end to sell out for this one?

I’m on 11 points but it will depend if Ireland’s restrictions are in place by then.

There’s very little chance that you’d get an away end ticket. There were plenty Scots in the home end when we last played them though

Yeah, I'm already thinking that I may have to do that.

Apparently the Nation's League has invited the South American teams to participate?

Does that give us the prospect of Brazil, Argentina or Uruguay at Euro 2028?

Absolutely! Unless Ireland haven't a chance at that stage but even then I'd expect it to sell out.

If you managed to get a ticket in the home end you'd be absolutely fine though.

McGinn has been a total standout. Only a matter of time until some other country comes in for him.

And thousands of Irish in the home end when we last played in Glasgow as well.
Would have no hesitation going to 'wrong' end.

For anyone going to Dublin who won't get a ticket for the Scotland end, home tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster.
