I think he’s a quality premier league player but not at the top end, which is what Man Utd need. If he was playing for Everton that would be more his level.

I prefer McTominay to McGregor but can’t argue with the performance of those three last time out.
It’s nice to be talking about which quality players have to miss out for our national team these days.

Our midfield is set for the next 5+ years and it's going to take something pretty special to get past the current bunch.

Leeds Utds Cooper is a doubt for the March Internationals, due to injury, so presume McTominay may slot into the back 3.

Along with John McGinn doesn’t get the credit he deserves down south. Causes they’re both from up here

I'm not convinced by him, albeit I don't watch much English football.
When he's come into the Scotland team the balance of the midfield has looked poorer. I actually quite like him at CB - obviously there are defensive issues with him not being a natural in that position but I think that at times it has been good for Scotland to have someone playing there who is comfortable on the ball and right footed.
He seems to be synonymous with a United team that underachieves although I fully accept that it's a bit unfair to put that all on his shoulders. It might be interesting to see how he'd get on in a team with a more defined playing style and less egotistical ********s.
Re Darren Fletcher - Darren Fletcher has an enviable medal collection and was trusted by the best manager of all time to carry out a specific task. If McTominay achieves a fraction of what he achieved, he'll be doing ok.

Wouldn’t even make the City, Chelsea or Liverpool match day squads, therein lies Man U’s problems.

They have a squad of 2nd rate EPL players, a manager trying to play a system that's clearly not working and having to rely on an ageing front line of Ronaldo and Cavani, needs a total clear out which will take about 3 windows to achieve.

McTominay is a cracking footballer. Unfortunately for him he’s playing in a very poor performing team of who are meant to be superstars.

Not saying he’s a bad player he just not the standard you’d expect at that club.

McTominay is mediocre at best he was good against Burnley and absolutely rank rotten against wolves

He’s a regular topic of conversation with a Jambo pal of mine.
I don’t think he’s Man Utd’s level. He’d never regular game for Chelsea, City or Liverpool and is nowhere near the level of the great Man Utd teams of recent times.
Don’t get me wrong, I do rate him but I see him more as solid PL pro and more of an Everton/Villa type player. My Jambo pal thinks he’s world class, would get in any team in the world and was raging he wasn’t in the running for PFA player of the year last year.
