    Scotland v Austria

Really looking forward to this tonight
Going to be a tough game, but would a 1-0 Scotland right now

Need to beat them in our head to head I’d imagine so a win tonight would help massively. It’s 100% a must not lose at the very worst though.

Hope he doesn’t wait until the last minute. I’ve had too much of that from Scotland.
This will be a tough game though and Austria will be favourites so I’d take any kind of win.
I see there are fan from both sides in Tel Aviv tonight. Wonder if any Scots have made it there for Sunday’s game 🤔

Austria are likely to play a striker who is the same height as Matt Macey who has scored in his last 7 Bundesliga games.
His height could dictate the centre halves selected

Reckon Jack Hendry might play and McTominay in to the middle of the park.

Hanley and Hendry both start, alongside Tierney
    Christie and Dykes up front

Depending on how both Hanley and Hendry do in the next few games they will both be at the Euro's.

    Probably mate.
Henry, Hanley & Tierney at the back with Robbo and O'Donnell as wing backs. Midfield 3 of McGinn, McTominay and Armstrong with Christie playing just in behind Dykes.

Christie has been pretty brutal for Celtic recently so hopefully he can turn round his form and do the business tonight.
I'm watching the Denmark v Israel game just now (currently 2-0 Denmark), not a great deal between the teams. This could be a close group between Scotland, Denmark and Austria with Israel not far behind.

I knew Hanley would play but thought McKenna would have been next to him for his strength.
A totally fresh partnership gives me a bit of fear.

McKenna has been injured up to the last couple of weeks

Think that will be the squad for the Euro's with Jack coming in for Fleck and Cooper in for Hanley/Hendry.

Other way about I thought. Expected Hendry to play but surprised by Hanley. Hendry, apparently, and his team doing well in Belgium this year.

Denmark are that good they are dominating the Scotland v Austria game before it even kicks off.

    Impressive

BTW is Marciano in goals for Israel?

Christie has had a rotten season but I guess Clarke is showing some loyalty and it could upset squad harmony if someone like Adams just waltzes straight in.
There are three games in a week, so McGregor and Gallagher will play their part and Adams will get his chance. Hopefully, Nisbet gets some minutes too, maybe a start against Faroe Islands.
This is a big one tonight. Lose and it's pretty much all over.
Sabitzer on the bench for Austria is a surprise boost, although Alaba v O'Donnell is a bit scary.

Made a great low save in the second half, his defenders haven’t done him any favours. The second was especially comical, I think it came off the defenders back.

    Wow Sabitzer on the bench.
Expect to see him if things not going so well for them after an hour.

Can't stand Hanley. He was crap the last time he was in the team and can't see why he gets back in ahead of the the guys who'd been playing well enough to help us qualify. He's too weak and slow for international football.
