    Hibs v Celtic thoughts

Seems ages since we played, hope the break will be kind to Hibs, after 3 welcome points at downtown Tynie?
Can’t really see too many changes in the starting 11, unless we have the odd injury from the last game, Gray?
A few injured players had some game time last 1/2 reserve games, wonder if Hecky considers Gauld, Agyepong or Whittaker, up to speed to make the bench

Reading that Lennon saying his team has been leaked ulast 4 weeks, sounds like an inside job

We really need to take something from this game, if we have a chance of going any higher in the table

Hopefully we have learned from the cup game that we should get at them a bit more. Play the same team that played against Hearts and add Gauld/Agyepong to the bench if they are able to come on and make a difference by contributing 30 mins or so.

I'm feeling quite confident we can get something from the game and I'm hoping we can get a decent crowd along for the boys.

When we played them in the cup that was before we stumbled on the shape that we have been playing lately.

We created absolutely nothing in that game. I think the shape we are playing now will let us compete with them more and give us a better opportunity to get at them.

As always against them, we need to be very good if we want anything. The last two games against them we’ve pretty much rolled over like what used to happen against them.

Right now I would take a draw. We must turn up and start from the whistle not 20 mins after the whistle.

At Easter Road we're capible of beating anyone. Celtic will know that though. I'll say 1-1 draw.

Fans must play there part and get right behind the team from the start and through the 90+ mins nothing to fear get right in there faces canny wait Ggtth

So far this season whenever there has been a break, for whatever reason, we seem to start the first game back very slowly and appear disjointed. Can't afford to do so On Sunday.

i think we will see Age added to the bench. Cant see any of the the others coming in yet.

2-1 Hibs, I hope we stick it right up Lennon and the tribute act.

I think we actually have a chance of getting something from this game. At the very least, we'll be able to compete.

Hecky is learning more about what he can get from his squad with every game that passes, so I'm convinced he won't use the same tactics as in the Cup game.

Well at least they wont be celebrating winning the league again at Easter Road two years running.

Close run thing 2-1 either way, hopefully in favour of the original greens over the lesser greens.

A point at least would give the team a great boost for the games against our rivals in front of us ... we need to be really good all over the park for that to happen - if anybody from our defence is reading this, that means you lot in particular ...

We really have nothing to lose. Get right at them from the off for 90 mins. Non of this defensive nonsense. 2-0 Hibs.

Both sides have everything to play for. Celtic could clinch the title - Hibs chasing third place and the added incentive of denying Celtic the title party on our patch. I think we have a settled look about us and will be very hard to beat - could see a 1-1 although obviously I hope we skelp them - As has been mentioned the team need our backing so come on and lets belt out some Hibees classics - GGTTH !

    Last season DDLW 5

    This season LWL 3

Yeah think us Killie and hearts are the only teams to beat them twice but then we also had those two fantastic 2-2 games with them last season

Very tough game Celtic very up and down under Lennon seem to step up a gear or two in the bigger games but have been pretty poor in others vDundee and recent home game v Livi. Hopefully we are a wee bit more progressive than the cup tie which I think we will be. Stay in the game and I can see us nicking it.

We have nothing to lose today but everything to gain. They are a good side but not world beaters so let's have a go at them from the start and leave it all out on the Park. Press them high and play at a good tempo.....2-1 Hibees

I’m quietly confident today, I’m expecting a draw at least.
