    Well done mcnulty

Just wanted to say well done on his first scotland appearance. Missed a few chances which happens to even the best players in the world of football. This was a debut and nerves will undoubtedly played a part. The "scotland fans" that took time to hit twitter with insults aimed at him can gtf.

Yes a total sitter and if he played for Hearts we would be giving him pelters. But then again you have to be in the right position to get on the end of a sitter. And I would have liked him to have taken one of these free kicks we got just outside the box. Miss Charlie Mulgrew or Sparky Mark 1 for these babies.
so, well done, 2 Scotland caps under his belt, all the best to himY

He's not the answer either. Not international quality.

    Scotland needs better

BUT...a good player for Hibs nonetheless

We were playing San Marino, officially the worst team in international football.

If you can't perform against a side like that, then people are quite right to criticise.

Its strange, because I think he's a decent player.

When was the last time Scotland produced a world class striker?

Players like mcnulty just fill gaps at international level.

I think Reading should let him go at the end of the season.....

I thought he was very average in both games he played and the header was a shocking miss. All good for us though as these two performances are not going to have other clubs banging at his door.

Was a very bad miss however I said at the time he was getting himself into great positions. His movement is really good, must be murder to play against

Just watched “The Miss” again on YouTube

It was worse than I remembered from the pub

I am sure Jamie MAC scored a similar opportunity versus The Rangers

Without having seen McNultys back it was a shocker.

JMs header against Rangers was superb, wasn’t an easy chance.

    Ha Ha!

    Well worth watching again

Jamie MAC was a good finisher but we move on

McNulty is good for Hibs and hopefully we will be good for him

The fact he now has two caps makes his move worthwhile

I love the job he is doing for Hibs at the moment but sadly it says a lot about Scotland that a player who couldn’t get a game for Reading and has played a handful of decent games for Hibs is now a Scotland player.

Thought he did ok and his movement was good, quite why we couldnt come up with a formation to give him a striking partner was a little odd against San Marino as looks like he is better with someone to play off. The header was a poor miss as he was trying to put too much on it rather than guiding it in the corner, these things happen. Second chance was a little unlucky with goalie getting a hand on it and he did well to leave ball for Russell for second.

    Archibald? World class?

    Steve Archibald?

    Nah!

    Dalglish? Of course.

How about Denis Law or Joe Jordan?
