I have a 114 (yes 114!!😃) page photobook that I put together from the plethora of internet pics online, interspersed with newspaper reports of each game, coupled with my own words of commentary for each picture/page. It’s actually 108 pages of photos plus 6 blank inside pages front and back but conveniently adds up to 114. Subtly suitable given the history.
Doesn’t just cover the final but the whole cup run. It’s unique. The only copy in the world. Took me a few weeks to compose it using the software provided by the print company.
I’m proud of it and will never part with it.

Sample page from the opening section covering the Final itself.

Watched the dudes doing that, nibble by nibble for wee tiny bits. Thorough job.
We "raided" the turf and nets. Notice how our theologically obsessed hun chums have entered that into the narrative. Aye we did raid Hampden, GIRFUY.

Not really a strange momento but me and my laddie found a green/light green student type scarf as we left Hampden. Still have it. Wee bit of turf in a plant pot that was handed to my son by so wine we knew who was on the pitch. Still water it and cut it with scissors. Need to weed it again soon.

I'm one for keeping tickets from matches, gigs etc. Lost my ticket that day, likely in the final whistle carnage. Still beelin about it. Have 3 of the programmes tho!

The memory that it was the greatest feeling I have ever had at a football match. Still seems a strange one for me but that’s the truth.

A Facebook post on 21/5 from my best mate saying he’s never heard his pal, a teacher, swear in public.....
...followed by the full uncensored, sweary, effin’ and jeffin’ text I sent him from Hampden at FT

I had a similar injury which made me smile every time I noticed it and was my souvenir from the game for a long time after - scrapped my shins off the seat in front of me celebrating Stokesy's opener and, though I hardly noticed it until the next day it took at least a year before the scars had healed properly. Other than that though - nothing other than the memories between my ears!
Didn't get a program or anything due to pre match rushing about - but it doesn't matter a jot because the shear joy of being there will live with me forever

My bothers ticket framed on my wall alongside mine. He passed not long after the cup final. As heartbreaking as it was, the one thing I can console myself with is the fact he was there on that special day.

My match programme is signed by SDG and Paul Hanlon. One of my brothers and a couple of pals are celebrating in a great photo looking from behind into the crowd when SDG celebrates in front of the South Lower. Pride of place on the walls of their respective homes.
