    I feel for Drey Wright….

…probably gonna be booed by both sets of fans today

I’ll be cheering him on, he does play for us

I think the booing of individual players at any time in a game is horrendous. Counter-productive.

No boos from our end today. He’s doing fine.

He is offering nothing but glad fans in stands are giving him a break.

I feel more for us, having to watch him.

He didn’t get booed today, but he offered nothing going forward., same as his mates Campbell and Doyle-Hayes.

Booing of the performance was justified at the end though. 2 games in a row against two woeful bottom teams and same identikit display from a pedestrian Hibs team.

How Kensell can call the last transfer window a “7 out of ten” is utterly beyond me.

    A winger that’s better at defending,Hopeless

He sums up Hibs right now - very average and predictable.

Means well..few nice moments but literally no end product or contribution which will make a difference. Mostly does the safe pass and happy just to tick along nicely.

I don’t like him getting booed but he’s not good enough. Even without injuries we are crying out for quality in attacking midfielders.

  12. #11
He just offers nothing going forward, absolutely nothing.

I have tried to be fair to him but as a right winger/attacking player for Hibs you need to do more, simply keeping it isn’t good enough.

Even Brandon Barker, someone who was scoffed at in January by many is a far better player and at least goes for it, give me him over Wright any day.

Henderson has a million miles to go to convince me he should be playing, the odd deft touch doesn't make him a player.

His ball retention is brutal, the amount of 60/40 or better situations in his favour he goes into contact with the ball and comes out without it is frightening.

He looks like a boy amongst men and timid with it

Wright had a far far better game without doing anything than Henderson had today

Can’t think of him ever beating a man without the ball going out of play,As you say others nothing going forward.
Will probably still start the next game though

I think Henderson has a good footballing brain and plenty of ability with the ball at his feet. I think however he is seriously sluggish and doesn't look like he has the energy/pace/explosiveness required. People have been claiming Scott Allan doesn't have the legs for it - but Henderson is less mobile than him.

Wright clearly isnt a winger so shouldnt have been out there today, change the tactics to suit the players we have available

No idea!! He isnt quick enough or skillful enough to play out wide, been tried before and didnt work, if anything he should be in behind the striker if he is going to play

  20. #19
Wouldn’t boo a Hibs player ever but he’s in a privileged position to be playing for us. So far away from the standard required.

He looks like he might make a half decent right back. I don't see anything in him that suggests he should be playing in a forward thinking role.

Its absolutely pathetic that we are talking about trying to fit players into positions where they might be decent. Most of that team are not good enough for a Hibernian First XI.

I'm not suggesting he plays for us anywhere.

I'm just suggesting generally that he might be a better player there than he is as an attacking midfielder.

Probably a decent guy but contributes nothing. However no worse than some others in the team.

Some very poor touches and passes in the first half today. Improved to anonymity in the second before being hooked.

    Of course we are.

He wasn't good today, but he didn't stand out as any worse than at least 50% of his team mates for me.

To be fair, he wouldn't be anywhere near a start if we had all our players fit.

I’d rather we have some youth a chance than play Wright anymore….

He tries, I’ll give him that but he is nowhere near good enough for this level….

What Maloney sees in him really escapes me.

The only time the likes of Campbell and Wright stand out are when their primary job is covering ground and stopping the opposition play. They must be up there with some of the most limited ‘midfielders’ in possession that I’ve had the misfortune to watch in a Hibs shirt. Not doubting they care and they try but it’s no coincidence that our recent spell of bad results has coincided with these 2 getting more minutes.
